Point of the Stag is a returning Iron Banner Bow in Season of the Witch. If you like using Bows then Point of the Stag is one of the best legendary bows out there. Today I’m going to take closer look at Point of the Stag, the stats, perks, god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE, plus how to get Point of the Stag in Destiny 2.

How to get Point of the Stag

To get Point of the Stag you’ll want to play Iron Banner and rank up with Lord Saladin. Point of the Stag is a reward on his upgrade path in Season of the Witch, but you’ll also be able to get Point of the Stag as a random drop from the end of Iron Banner matches.

Point of the Stag

Point of the Stag is a Legendary Energy Combat Bow with a Precision Frame meaning it’s a Compound Bow. Longer draw time optimized for damage. Looking at the stats we have Impact 76, Accuracy 68, Stability 40, Handling 56, Reload Speed 40, Airborne Effectiveness 10, Draw Time 684, Charge Time 60.

We have a choice of Origin Traits

  • Skulking Wolf – While at low health, Guardian final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar.
  • Wild Card – Final blows with this weapon have a chance to create experimental submunitions at the target’s location.

Point of the Stag God Roll Guide

For PVE Elastic String, Compact Arrow Shaft, Archer’s Tempo and Dragonfly would be good.

  • Elastic String – Decreases accuracy, Faster draw time, Slightly increases handling speed
  • Compact Arrow Shaft – Increases handling speed, Increases reload speed
  • Archer’s Tempo – Draw time decreases after every precision hit.
  • Dragonfly – Precision kills create an elemental damage explosion.

For PVP Polymer String, Compact Arrow Shaft, Archer’s Tempo and Swashbuckler would be good.

  • Elastic String – Decreases accuracy, Faster draw time, Slightly increases handling speed
  • Compact Arrow Shaft – Increases handling speed, Increases reload speed
  • Archer’s Tempo – Draw time decreases after every precision hit.
  • Precision Instrument – Dealing sustained damage increases precision damage.
