Nezarec’s Sin Void Warlock Build in Destiny 2

This Void Warlock build is going to help you tear through enemies, improve your survivability, and cause voids explosions everywhere you go in Destiny 2. This is good for everyday activities and endgame activities, and the combination of Nezarec’s Sin and Graviton Lance, plus our Void setup is simply going to leave everything that tries to stop you… dead. Today I’m going to run through the build, look at the void subclass setup, the weapons, armor and mods, so you can explode your enemies into the void in Destiny 2.

The build is centered around Nezarec’s Sin, which is where void damage kills increase ability energy recharge rate. Therefore void kills with Graviton Lance plus void ability kills are going to replenish void abilities including melee, grenade and class ability. That means we’ll be able to use our abilities fairly constantly, allowing us to cause much more damage to targets on the battlefield.

Void subclass setup

Super – Nova Bomb Vortex
Class – Healing Rift
Melee – Pocket Singularity
Grenade – Vortex

Aspects

Child of the Old Gods – Cast your rift to create a Void Soul. When you damage a target with a weapon, your Void Soul flies to them and drains them, doing damage and weakening them. When a target is being drained, you are granted grenade and melee energy (if running healing rift) or health (if running empowering rift). Defeating a target who is being drained by your Void Soul grants class ability energy.

Feed the Void – Defeat a target with a Void ability to activate Devour. While Devour is active, final blows restore health and extend Devour.

Fragments

Echo of Leeching – Melee final blows start health regeneration for you and nearby allies. +10 Resilience
Echo of Expulsion – Void ability final blows cause targets to explode. +10 Intellect
Echo of Instability – Defeating targets with grenades grants Volatile Rounds to your Void weapons. +10 Strength
Echo of Remnants – Your lingering grenade effects (Vortex Grenade, Void Wall, Void Spike, and Axion Bolt) have increased duration.

Armor – Nezarec’s Sin

This is a Warlock Void Helmet. The main intrinsic perk is Abyssal Extractors – Void-damage kills increase ability energy recharge rate.

Pairing up with Void weapons is going to be great here. We’re going to be using this with void weapons to help regenerate our grenades and melee abilities faster specifically for the grenades. You can pick this one up from Xur or Master Rahool in the Tower.

Weapons

Riptide

Riptide is a Legendary Fusion Rifle dealing Stasis damage with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning it has deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when the magazine is empty. Auto-loading Holster, Chill Clip would be a decent roll – Direct hits with the top half of the magazine cause a detonation that slows nearby targets. This gives the build a fire and ice quality.

Graviton Lance

Graviton Lance is an Exotic Energy Pulse Rifle. Let’s check out the perks on this one.

Black Hole – Second shot of a burst rips a hole through space-time, doing high damage and recoil with no falloff.
Cosmology – Kills with this weapon cause enemy targets to detonate and spawn Void projectiles that track targets.

Graviton Lance is great it’s another random exotic drop or you can pick it up from Xur when he’s selling it. If you have a Collective Obligation, that’s also good too. Graviton Lance benefitted from a HUGE buff in PVE in Season 21, so it’s a good energy weapon for any void build.

Commemmoration

Commemoration is a Legendary Power Machine Gun with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. For PVE Reconstruction, and Rampage is the best roll. Reconstruction is where this weapon slowly reloads itself over time, up to double capacity. and finally rampage boosts damage after a kill, which stacks up to 3 times. Reconstruction paired with Rampage is absolutely perfect on this machine gun. You can get this one from the Deep Stone Crypt Raid.

Mods

Void Siphon – Rapid Void weapon final blows create an Orb of Power.

Arms

Grenade Kickstart – When your grenade energy is fully expended, you gain grenade energy. Additionally, your Armor Charge is consumed and you gain additional grenade energy for each stack.

Utility Kickstart – When your class ability energy is fully expended, you gain class ability energy. Additionally, your Armor Charge is consumed and you gain additional class ability energy for each stack.

Gameplay loop

I’ve mentioned Nezarec’s Sin and Graviton Lance boosting our abilities, allowing us to dish out much more void damage, and be lethal with our weapons, grenades and melee abilties. Child of the Old Gods is good too, as we’ll be sending out our little void buddy to drain enemies of their life, giving us back grenade and melee abilities.

While increasing damage output, this build is also going to help restore our health due to Devour. Our fragment Feed the Void is going to activate Devour, and while this is active then final blows restore health. Given we’re using a combination of Nezarec’s Sin and Graviton Lance, we’re going to be topping up our void abilities constantly, meaning we can use them more, which is going to activate Devour constantly, so your Guardian is going to be much harder to kill. This build is going to be good for endgame content like Nightfalls, Dungeons and Raids, allowing you to tear through smaller enemies, and increase your survivability against tougher enemies.

Explosions are also the name of the game with this build. Echo of Explusion causes targets to explode when you use your void abilities. Graviton Lance splits out explosive void orbs constantly through the exotic perk Cosmology, plus they track targets too, meaning it’s going to be hard for smaller enemies to get away and stay alive. Echo of Instability is good too, as we’re going to be granted Volatile Rounds. We’re using Graviton Lance and Commemoration which are Void weapons, and having a heavy machine gun with Volatile Rounds is very tasty for damage.

Our mods are also helping out with the build too.

Abiltities – Bolstering Detonation grants class ability energy when you cause damage with a grenade. Innervation reduces grenade cooldown each time you pick up an Orb of Power. Grenade Kickstart when your grenade energy is fully expended, you gain grenade energy.

Damage – Void Weapon Surge your Void weapons gain a small bonus to damage while you have any Armor Charge. Your Armor Charge now decays over time.

Survivability – Emergency reinforcement when your shields become broken, you gain temporary damage reduction.

Let me know in the comments what you think of the build.
