How to get Unending Tempest (Legendary Submachine Gun) in Destiny 2
Unending Tempest is a submachine gun added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of the Witch. This is a fantastic submachine fun, great for both PVE and PVP, with some deadly rolls, so it’s well worth adding to your arsenal this season. Today I am going to look closer at the stats, the perks, the god rolls for PVP and PVE, plus how to get Unending Tempest in Destiny 2.
How to get Unending Tempest
To get this one it’s a random drop from the end of Crucible matches or ranking up with Lord Shaxx in the Tower. While you can’t focus it at Shaxx in Season of the Witch, you will be able to focus it from Season 23 onwards. TL:DR, play crucible and you’ll get it as a reward from matches.
Unending Tempest
Unending Tempest is a Legendary Kinetic Submachine Gun with a Precision Frame meaning the weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 25, Range 53, Stability 41, Handling 23, Reload Speed 19, Aim Assistance 58, Airborne Effectiveness 19, Rounds Per Minute 600 and Magazine 27.
For the Origin Trait we have a choice:
- One Quiet Moment – Grants increased reload speed when out of combat.
- Nadir Focus – Sustained fire increases accuracy and range. Increases lunge distance for Swords, and projectile velocity for Launchers.
Unending Tempest god roll guide
For PVE Corkscrew Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie would be good.
- Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range and stability, Slightly increases handling speed
- Accurized Rounds – Increases range
- Demolitionist – Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
- Adrenaline Junkie – This weapon gains increased damage and handling from final blows with grenades or this weapon.
For PVP Corkscrew Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Gutshot Straight and Target Lock would be good.
- Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range and stability, Slightly increases handling speed
- Accurized Rounds – Increases range
- Gutshot Straight – Aiming down sights increases body shot damage, decreases target acquisition.
- Target Lock – Damage increases the longer this weapon remains on a target.
