How to get Sole Survivor (Legendary Sniper) in Destiny 2

Sole Survivor is a returning Sniper in Season of the Deep. This one is a great Sniper, with some good rolls, and is useful in both PVE and PVP content. Today I am going to take a closer look at Sole Survivor, I’ll check out the stats, perks, god rolls for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Sole Survivor in Destiny 2.

How to get Sole Survivor

To get Sole Survivor you have to take part in the Fishing activity in Season of the Deep. You can exchange one legendary fish, or a number of regular fish into the acquarium in the H.E.L.M. There are a number of fishing spots around the game including Nessus, EDZ and Savathun’s Throne World. You’ll be taken to all these locations through the introduction quest Gone Fishin’ which you could pick up from the Sonar Station in the H.E.L.M. As well as fishing, you can exchange Deep Engrams at the Sonar Station and you have a chance at getting Sole Survivor. You can unlock specific focusing to get Reckoning weapons through the seasonal challenges upgrades.

Sole Survivor

Sole Survivor is a Legendary Energy Sniper Rifle with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 45, Stability 36, Handling 42, Reload Speed 43, Airborne Effectiveness 2, Rounds Per Minute 90, Magazine 4.

The origin trait for this one is Disaster Plan, picking up ammunition increases this weapon’s flinch resistance and range, which lasts until it is fired again.

Sole Survivor god roll guide

For PVE Fluted Barrel, Appended Mag, Lead From Gold, Firing Line would be good.

  • Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly increases stability
  • Appended Mag – Increases magazine size
  • Lead From Gold – Picking up Heavy ammo also grants ammo to this weapon.
  • Firing Line – This weapon deals increased precision damage when near two or more allies.

For PVP Fluted Barrel, High-Caliber Rounds, Snapshot Sights, Vorpal Weapon would be good.

  • Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly increases stability
  • High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
  • Snapshot Sights – Faster time to aim down sights.
  • Vorpal Weapon – More effective against Guardians in their super.
