How to get Epochal Integration (Legendary Hand Cannon) in Destiny 2
Epochal Integration is a hand cannon added to Destiny 2 in Season of the Deep. This is an extension of the Lightfall campaign, which gives us more information about The Veil, plus a very tasty hand cannon that’s got some great stats and perk combinations. Today I’m going to walk through how to get the Epochal Integration, plus look at the perk combinations in Destiny 2.
How to get Epochal Integration
First of all you want to make sure you finish the Lightfall campaign, plus the Unfinished Business exotic quest. Once you have beaten Calus and you’ve gathered all the relevant info about The Veil, you’re ready to begin the “Parting The Veil” quest, which will reward you Epochal Integration.
The first step of the quest has you hunting Cabal on Neomuna. You can pick a Lost Sector or battle Cabal outside Calus’ ship on Neomuna. The Lost Sectors Gilded Precept or Hydroponics Delta are good because then other Guardians cannot steal your kills. Either way, defeat Cabal and they will drop Vex Tracking Data. You’ll need 10 to move onto the next step of the quest.
Next, you’ll want to go to Maya’s Retreat and you’ll have a handy marker on your map to direct you there. Make your way through Liming Harbor to get to Maya’s Retreat. Once you arrive, you’ll see a Vex Conduit and you’ll have to defeat waves of enemies to release the Vex Harpies. Kill the waves of enemies, and the Vex Harpies then retrive the data from the Vex structure.
Next, you’ll have to get more data, this time from the Irkalla Complex. Go through the Zephyr Concourse and the Esi Terminal, and jump through the portal to your final destination. When you have made it to the Irkalla Complex you’ll have to defeat waves of enemies and Harpies again. Complete the 3 waves, then you can select the Parting The Veil mission from the banner close by.
Much of this mission is Bungie giving us more information about The Veil. Once you make your way into the Veil Facility, you have to interact with a terminal. This has the personal logs of Chioma Esi, and if you are a fan of Destiny 2 lore, then this is great content. The Taken then appear in the facility and you have to take them out, while making your way to The Veil. This is the same area where we defeated Calus before. This time it’s not Calus we have to defeat, but a Tormentor, with loads of Taken enemies that come at you in waves.
Defeat the Taken and the Tormentor, then it’s time to go to the Hall of Heroes and pick up your reward at the Pouka Pond. There’s also a new Strand Aspect there for all classes.
Epochal Integration
Epochal Integration is a Legendary Energy Hand Cannon is an Adaptive Frame meaning it’s a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Lookng at the stats Impact 84, Range 54, Stability 82, Handling 60, Reload Speed 41, Airborne Effectiveness 18, Rounds Per Minute 140, and Magazine 11.
We have a selection of Origin Traits
- Harmonic Resonance – Equipping multiple weapons from this set grants this weapon increased reload speed and handling. It also deals increased damage versus Tormentors, Lucent Hive, and Guardians using their Supers.
- Nanotech Tracer Rockets – Landing multiple hits turns your next shot into a homing micro-rocket.
We also have a selection of perks in the 3rd and 4th column.
3rd column
- Keep Away – Increased reload, range, and accuracy when no combatants are in close proximity.
- Stats for all – Hitting three separate targets increases weapon handling, stability, reload, and range for a moderate duration.
4th column
- Eye of the storm – This weapon becomes more accurate and boosts handling as your health gets lower.
- Incandescent – Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.
The best combination for you is whatever suits your playstyle. I mainly play in PVE content so I’m always using Incandescent, then swicth between keep away and stats for all. Whatever the perk combination, I think this is a great 140 rpm hand cannon.
Let me know in the comments what you think.
