Thin Precipice is a strand sword added to Destiny 2 in Season of the Deep. This is a vortex frame sword, combined with strand making it very unique and it’s a lot of fun in strand builds. Today I am going to take a closer look at Thin Precipice, check out the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE, plus how to get Thin Precipice in Destiny 2.

How to get Thin Precipice

To get Thin Precipice you’ll need to take part in the seasonal activities called Deep Dive and Salvage, which can be accessed via the H.E.L.M. You will need to own Season of the Deep to play these activities. You can also focus Deep Engrams at the H.E.L.M. for Season of the Deep loot, including Thin Precipice.

Thin Precipice

Thin Precipice is a Legendary Power Sword with a Vortex Frame where you can launch a heavy spin attack. Heavy attacks are stronger with full energy. Looking at the stats we have Swing Speed 40, Impact 60, Charge Rate 20, Magazine 29, and Ammo Capacity 56.

The origin trait is Unsated Hunger where swords gain increased guard resistance and charge rate instead.

Thin Precipice god roll guide

For PVE Hungry Edge, Balanced Guard, Tireless Blade and Chain Reaction would be good.

Hungry Edge – Increased sword ammo
Balanced Guard – Sword Guard has balanced overall defenses
Tireless Blade – Sword ammo granted for every other powered sword kill
Chain Reaction – Each final blow with this weapon creates an elemental damage explosion

For PVP Enduring Blade, Burst Guard, Relentless Strikes, Hatchling would be good.

Enduring Blade – Greatly increased sword ammo at the cost of damage
Burst Guard – Sword Guard has maximized efficiency and high resistance, but low endurance
Relentless Strikes – Landing three light-attack hits within a short time grants Sword ammo
Hatchling – Precision final blows or rapidly defeating targets with a non-precision weapon spawns a Threadling at the target’s location.
