How to get Outlast (Legendary Pulse Rifle) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Outlast is a returning Pulse Rifle in Season of the Deep, returning as part of the Reckoning set of weapons. This is a rapid-fire pulse rifle, and these are deadly weapons for not only PVE but PVP too. Today I am going to talk through the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Outlast in Destiny 2.

How to get Outlast

To get Outlast you want to take part in the fishing activity introduced in Season of the Deep. There’s a quest from Hawthor. Once you have been through the introduction quest, then at the Sonar Station in the H.E.L.M. you can pick up the Gone Fishin’ quest. What you want to do is go to one of the fishing holes dotted around the game, catch at least 15 fish and then bank them in the H.E.L.M. in exchange for Reckoning Weapons (you’ll be taken to all current fishing locations in the Gone Fishin’ quest on EDZ, Nessus and Savathun’s Throne World). It’s down to luck, but you’ll get an Outlast Pulse Rifle by banking the fish in the H.E.L.M.

Outlast

Outlast is a Legendary Energy Pulse Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. Looking at the stats we have Impact 23, Range 30, Stability 42, Handling 21, Reload Speed 25, Airborne Effectiveness 10, Rounds Per Minute 540, and Magazine 32.

The Origin Trait is Disaster Plan where picking up ammunition increases this weapon’s flinch resistance and range, which lasts until it is fired again.

Outlast god roll guide

For PVE Arrowhead Break, Richochet Rounds, Outlaw, Kill Clip would be good.

Arrowhead Break – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
Richochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
Outlaw – Precision kills greatly decrease reload time.
Kill Clip – Reloading after a kill grants increased damage.

For PVP Hammer Forged Rifling, High Caliber Rounds, Rangefinder and Snapshot Sights would be good.

Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increases range
High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
Rangefinder – Aiming this weapon increases its effective range and zoom magnification.
Snapshot Sights – Faster time to aim down sights.
