Season of Defiance

How to get The Title (Legendary Submachine Gun) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

The Title is a returning submachine gun added to Destiny 2 as part of Guardian Games. This is an aggressive frame SMG, meaning it’s 750 rounds per minute, plus we have updated perks. While it’s not as good as Funnelweb or other monster SMGs in the game right now, it is worth getting a decent roll, plus we have versions of the weapon dropping very frequently throughout the games. Today I’m going to dive into the stats, the perks, the god rolls for PVP and PVE, plus how to get The Title in Destiny 2.

How to get The Title

To get this one you want to take part in Guardian Games activities. You’ll get a version of The Title in the introduction quest from Eva Levante, plus you’ll get many versions of The Title by handing in medals at the podium. The more valuable the medal, the more likely you’ll get a Guardian Games weapon. I believe if you trade in a platinum medal, you are garuanteed to get a Guardian Games weapon. To get medals, take part in Guardian Games activities and complete contender cards, which reward medals, then turn these medals into the podium for rewards.

The Title

The Title is a Legendary Energy Submachine Gun with an Aggressive Frame meaning it’s high damage, high recoil. Looking at the stats we have Impact 23, Range 40, Stability 20, Handling 48, Reload Speed 23, Airborne Effectiveness 21, Rounds Per Minute 750, Magazine 28.

We have a couple of Origin Traits:

  • Classy Contender – Final blows with this weapon grant class ability energy.
  • Hakke Breach Armaments – This weapon deals increased damage against vehicles, turrets, barricades, and Stasis crystals.

The Title God Roll Guide

For PVE Smallbore, High-Caliber Rounds, Envious Assassin, Repulsor Brace would be good.

  • Smallbore – Increases range, Increases stability
  • High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
  • Envious Assassin – Rapidly defeating targets with other weapons before drawing this one transfers ammo to the magazine from reserves. This effect can overflow the magazine based on the number of targets defeated.

For PVP Hammer-Forged Rifling, High-Caliber Rounds, Perpetual Motion, Rangefinder would be good.

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increases range
  • High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
  • Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.
  • Rangefinder – Aiming this weapon increases its effective range and zoom magnification. Increased projectile velocity while aiming Rocket Launchers, Grenade Launchers, and Bows.
