How to get Taraxippos (Legendary Scout Rifle) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Taraxippos is a Scout Rifle added to Destiny 2 as part of Guardian Games 2023. This is a lightweight Scot Rifle, with some very good perks, plus good combinations for both PVE and PVP. Today I’m going to go through the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase, plus how to get Taraxippos in Destiny 2.

How to get Taraxippos

To get this one you’ll have to run through the introduction quest for the Guardian Games in 2023. The quest is fairly straight forward, all you need to do is speak to Eva Levante, follow the quests steps and you’ll get a Taraxippos at the end. You’ll then be able to get more rolls of Taraxippos throughout the Guardian Games event by adding medals to the podium in the tower. The more valuable the medal, the better rewards you’ll get in return.

Taraxippos is a Legendary Kinetic Scout Rifle is a Lightweight Frame Scout Rifle with superb handling. Move faster with this weapon equipped. Looking at the stats we have Impact 60, Range 30, Stability 42, Handling 69, Reload Speed 59, Airborne Effectiveness 13, Recoil 54, Bounce Intensity 46, Rounds Per Minute 200, and Magazine 15.

We have a couple of Origin Traits:

  • Classy Contender – Final blows with this weapon grant class ability energy.
  • Omolon Fluid Dynamics – This weapon has increased reload speed and stability for the top half of the magazine.

Taraxippos God Roll Guide

For PVE Polygonal Rifling, Tactical Mag, Fourth Times The Charm, Hatchling would be good.

  • Polygonal Rifling – Increases stability
  • Tactical Mag – Slightly increases stability, Increases reload speed, Slightly increases magazine size
  • Fourth Times The Charm – Rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine.
  • Hatchling – Precision final blows or rapidly defeating targets with a non-precision weapon spawns a Threadling at the target’s location.

For PVP Polygonal Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Zen Moment and Explosive Payload would be good.

  • Polygonal Rifling – Increases stability
  • Accurized Rounds – Increases range
  • Zen Moment – Causing damage with this weapon reduces recoil and flinch over time
  • Explosive Payload – Projectiles create an area-of-effect detonation on impact.
