Battle Scar is a lightweight pulse rifle added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of Defiance. This is a great PVE pulse rifles, in a meta where pulse rifles are performing really well right now, so its worth adding to your arsenal. Today I want to take a closer look at Battle Scar, the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Battle Scar in Destiny 2.

How to get Battle Scar

Battle Scar is a world drop weapon, meaning you can get it from a variety of sources, plus Banshee-44 sells it from time to time. Terminal Overload is a good source for the weapon, plus chests at the end of public events, and other legendary engram drops. Given it’s a world drop weapon, there’s no 100% way to farm for it.

Battle Scar

Battle Scar is a Legendary Kinetic Pulse Rifle with a Lightweight Frame meaning it has superb handling. Move faster with this weapon equipped. Looking at the stats we have Impact 27, Range 28, Stability 44, Handling 66, Reload Speed 56, Airborne Effectiveness 15, Rounds Per Minute 450 and Magazine 31.

Battle Scar is very well suited to PVE content. We got the 10% kinetic buff, plus we have access to Kinetic Tremors which is a nice new perk. It’s also a lightweight Pulse Rifle, meaning we get a nice buff to movement speed when using the weapon.

Battle Scar God Roll

For PVE Chambered Compensator, Tactical Mag, Perpetual Motion and Kinetic Tremors would be good.

  • Chambered Compensator – Increases stability, Moderately controls recoil, Slightly decreases handling speed
  • Tactical Mag – Slightly increases stability, Increases reload speed, Slightly increases magazine size
  • Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.
  • Kinetic Tremors – Sustained kinetic damage to a target emits a shockwave that damages any nearby targets.

For PVP Chambered Compensator, Accurized Rounds, Perpetual Motion and Headseeker would be good.

  • Chambered Compensator – Increases stability, Moderately controls recoil, Slightly decreases handling speed
  • Accurized Rounds – Increases range
  • Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.
  • Headseeker – Body shots landed with this weapon increase precision damage and aim assist for a short time. Body shots landed while the perk is active refresh the time.
