How to get Synchronic Roulette (Legendary Submachine Gun) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Synchronic Roulette is a new SMG added to Destiny 2 as part of the Lightfall expansion. This one is very popular, plus it’s a Strand Legendary weapon, making it great for strand builds, as well as sitting in that 600 rounds per minute precision frame family. Today I want to check out the weapon in a little more detail, check out the god rolls for PVP and PVE, and finally check out how to get Synchronic Roulette in Destiny 2.

How to get Synchronic Roulette

To get Synchronic Roulette you’ll need to compete the Terminal Overload activity on Neptune when the activity is located in Liming Harbour, and open up the chest with a Terminal Overload Key. This chest can be found on the right hand side after you beat the final boss.

To get access to Terminal Overload and the keys you need you’ll have to complete the Lightfall Campaign, and then complete the ‘Welcome to the Hall of Heroes quest’. Once you have done that, complete the ‘Stargazer’ quest, plus you’ll need to level up to at least 1750. You can get Terminal Overload keys from Public events and opening up chests on Neomuna near the Vex Incursion location, which can be found on Neptune. Once you have done this Terminal Overload will become a selectable activity on Neptune. Synchronic Roulette is a specific reward from Terminal Overload found in Liming Harbour. Do be aware the location for Terminal Overload rotates each day.

Synchronic Roulette

Synchronic Roulette is a Legendary Kinetic Submachine Gun with a Precision Frame meaning the this weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 25, Range 48, Stability 39, Handling 22, Reload Speed 19, Airborne Effectiveness 18, Rounds Per Minute 600, Magazine 26.

This one comes with the origin trait Nanotech Tracer Rockets, where landing multiple hits turns your next shot into a homing micro-missle.

Synchronic Roulette God Roll Guide

For PVE Chambered Compensator, Ricochet Rounds, Pulse Monitor and Hatchling would be good.

  • Chambered Compensator – Increases stability, Moderately controls recoil, Slightly decreases handling speed
  • Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
  • Pulse Monitor – Automatically reloads the magazine and improves weapon handling when wounded—even when this weapon is stowed.
  • Hatchling – Precision final blows or rapidly defeating targets with a non-precision weapon spawns a Threadling at the target’s location.

For PVP Smallbore, Ricochet Rounds, Envious Assassin, and Target Lock would be good.

  • Smallbore – Increases range, Increases stability
  • Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
  • Envious Assassin – Rapidly defeating targets with other weapons before drawing this one transfers ammo to the magazine from reserves. This effect can overflow the magazine based on the number of targets defeated.
  • Target Lock – Damage increases the longer this weapon remains on a target.
