How to get Retrofit Escapade (Legendary Machine Gun) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2
Retrofit Escapade is a lightweight machine gun that has been making headlines this season, mainly due to target lock and your ability to delete bosses when combined with volatile rounds. This is a great machine gun and today I am going to take a closer look at it, check out the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus check out how to get Retrofit Escapade in Destiny 2.
How to get Retrofit Escapade
To get Retrofit Escapade you have to take part in the seasonal activity called Heist Battlegrounds. When you complete the Heist Battlegrounds activity you can open up the chest at the end. The one on the right hand side will give you seasonal loot. You will need 500 Seraph Key Codes to open up this chest, and you can get this currency from activities including strikes, story missions, crucible and gambit. Given this is a seasonal weapon, you will need access to Season of the Seraph.
This weapon is also craftable and you’ll need five red border versions of Retrofit Escapade to get the pattern. You’ll be able to get red border versions of the weapon from Heist Battlegrounds, plus when you rank up at the Exo Frame Bray in the H.E.L.M. You’ll be able to purchase red borders from Exo Frame too.
Retrofit Escapade
Retrofit Escapade is a Legendary Power Machine Gun with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning it has deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. Looking at the stats we have Impact 25, Range 23, Stability 44, Handling 56, Reload Speed 67, Airborne Effectiveness 12, Rounds Per Minute 900, and Magazine 77.
We have a couple of Origin Traits here:
Ambush – Improves range, handling and damage against combatants during opening moments of an engagement
Suros Synergy – Reloading grants this weapon bonus handling and reduces incoming flinch for a short time.
Retrofit Escapade is a rapid-fire lightweight machine gun, which is fantastic for mowing down smaller enemies, but normally against bosses these types of weapons can struggle. Retrofit Escapade changes that with the inclusion of a particular perk called Target Lock, which has been making headlines this season, so I’d definitely recommend securing target lock on this weapon if you can. Combine Target Lock and Volatile Rounds, then you have a deadly combination.
