How to get Roar of the Bear (Legendary Rocket Launcher) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Roar of the Bear is a rocket launcher which is part of the Iron Banner loot pool. This is a great rocket launcher with some devastating perks, making this a must have rocket launcher, especially given their place in the game right now dealing very high DPS. Today I am going to check out Roar of the Bear in closer detail, look at the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE, plus show you how to get Roar of the Bear in Destiny 2.

How to get Roar of the Bear

To get Roar of the Bear you have to play Iron Banner. You can get this from a random reward at the end of Iron Banner matches, also it’s available to get on Lord Saladin’s upgrade ranks in the Tower. It’s the final upgrade at rank 16 just before reset. You can also get Iron Banner Engrams from ranking up with Lord Saladin by playing Iron Banner matches and then you’ll get a Iron Engram each time you rank up, which you can turn into Master Rahool in the Tower, or you can focus Iron Engrams with Lord Saladin for specific loot, including the Roar of the Bear.

Roar of the Bear

Roar of the Bear is a Legendary Power Rocket Launcher with a High-Impact Frame meaning it’s slow firing and high damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary, moving slowly, and aiming down sights. Looking at the stats we have Blast Radius 90, Velocity 37, Stability 57, Handling 65, Reload Speed 34, Airborne Effectiveness 7, Rounds Per Minute 15, Magazine 1.

This has the origin trait Skulking Wolf. While at low health, Guardian final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar.

Roar of the Bear God Roll Guide

For PVE Quick Launch, Alloy Casing, Demolitionist and Incandescent would be good.

  • Quick Launch – Greatly increases handling speed, Increases projectile speed
  • Alloy Casing – Greatly increases reload speed, Decreases stability
  • Demolitionist – Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
  • Incandescent – Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.

For PVP Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Impulse Amplifier, Chain Reaction would be good.

  • Quick Launch – Greatly increases handling speed, Increases projectile speed
  • High-Velocity Rounds – Increases projectile speed, Increases reload speed
  • Impulse Amplifier – Massively increases projectile velocity, increases reload speed.
  • Chain Reaction – Each final blow with this weapon creates an elemental damage explosion.
