Season of the Seraph

How to get Exalted Truth (Trials Legendary Hand Cannon) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Exalted Truth is a hand cannon introduced via Trials of Osiris in Season of the Seraph. This has immediately risen to one of the most wanted hand cannons in the game, with a very strong perk pool, making it great for both PVE and PVP. Today I am going to take a closer look at Exalted Truth, look at the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Exalted Truth in Destiny 2.

How to get Exalted Truth

To get Exalted Truth you’ll need to play Trials of Osiris and reach at least rank 10 to unlock Exalted Truth in your loot pool. Once you have it, you’ll be able to get Exalted Truth from Trials Engrams, either through random drops or by focusing at Saint-14. Be aware through, focusing costs hundreds of legendary shards, so make sure you stock up before focusing.

Trials is only around from Friday until Tuesday, most weekends, except when Iron Banner is on. To play Trials you’ll need to pick up a passage card from Saint-14, then win as many rounds as possible in Trials of Osiris to earn XP to rank up. As you rank up you’ll earn Trials Engrams, meaning by the time you get to rank 10 for Exalted Truth, then you’ll have a few Prime and Trials Engrams waiting for you at Saint-14. You can then either focus these with Saint, or simply take them to Master Rahool to get the loot from the engrams.

If you are a solo player then it’s worth checking out Freelance Trials of Osiris, as Bungie normally pair this up with bonus trials ranks (which is the case this weekend when this guide releases). The combination of freelance and bonus XP make it much easier and faster to get the trials loot.

Exalted Truth

Exalted Truth is a Legendary Energy Hand Cannon with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 84, Range 50, Stability 58, Handling 55, Reload Speed 47, Airborne Effectiveness 22, Rounds Per Minute 140, and Magazine 11.

Exhalted Truth is a great hand cannon. It’s base stats are much better than other apadtive energy hand cannons, plus it can compete with Palindrome, and other fan favourite hand cannons like Eysluna. Rose is another grat hand cannon, although that one is in the kinetic slot, but it can certainly compete, making it a great reason to go into Trials this season.

The perk pool with this weapon is fantastic. As well as good single perks, this one laos has rare perk combinations not found on other weapons of a similar type, like Rangefinder and Kill Clip, which was only obtainable on kinetic hand cannons previously. Repulsor Brace is another good one, given it’s a void hand cannon, so you can tke advantage of that overshield buff in Season of the Seraph.

This one comes with a choice of 3 origin traits

  • Alacrity – Gain increased reload, stanility, aim assist and range when you are the last living member of your fireteam or running solo.
  • One quiet moment – Grants increased reload speed when you are out of combat.
  • Suros Synergy – Reloading grants 40 handling and 20% flinch resistance for 6 seconds

Exalted Truth God Roll Guide

For PVE Fluted Barrel, Tactical Mag, Outlaw, Kill Clip would be good,

  • Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly increases stability
  • Tactical Mag – Slightly increases stability, Increases reload speed, Slightly increases magazine size
  • Outlaw – Precision kills greatly decrease reload time.
  • Kill Clip – Reloading after a kill grants increased damage.

For PVP Hammer-Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Killing Wind, and Kill Clip would be good.

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increases range
  • Accurized Rounds – Increases range
  • Killing Wind – Final blows grant increased mobility, weapon range, and handling for a short duration.
  • Kill Clip – Reloading after a kill grants increased damage.

It’s worth saying there are so many good rolls on this weapon that its tough to find a bad roll. Go out there, farm some trials of osiris and good luck getting Exalted Truth.
