Season of the Seraph

How to get Aurvandil FR6 (Legendary Fusion Rifle) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Aurvandil FR6 is a Fusion Rifle added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of th Seraph. This is our first high impact stasis fusion rifle, and joins the powerful family of Omolon Fusions. Today I am going to take a closer look at Aurvandil FR6, check out the stats, perks, the god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE plus look at how to get Aurvandil FR6 in Destiny 2.

How to get Aurvandil FR6

To get this fusion rifle you’ll need to get world drops, they can occur in multiple locations in the game including rewards at the end of playlist activities, public events and Lost Sectors. Banshee-44 also sells world drop weapons, so he’ll no doubt be selling it at some point throughout the season, so keep an eye on his inventory which changes every tuesday at reset time. Ranking up at Banshee-44 in the tower also gets you legendary engrams, which turn into world drop weapons.

Aurvandil FR6

Aurvandil FR6 is a Legendary Kinetic Fusion Rifle with a High-Impact Frame meaning it’s slow firing and high damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary, moving slowly, and aiming down sights. Looking at the stats we have Impact 95, Range 47, Stability 24, Handling 18, Reload Speed 18, Airborne Effectiveness 3, Charge Time 960, and Magazine 5.

This is a great looking weapon, plus it’s a brand new high-impoact stasis fusion and it rolls with Reconstruction, which was previously exclusive to the Deep Stone Crypt weapons. That is a very valuable perk for PVE. Generally, this feels like an excellent PVE weapon, and it’s going to be difficult to use in PVP, given the long charge time. if you can get that charge time down via a masterwork and perk combination, that would be good. However, I’d recommend this one more on the PVE side of things.

Aurvandil FR6 God Roll Guide

For PVE Chambered Compensator, Accelerated Coils, Reconstruction and Chill Clip would be good.

  • Chambered Compensator – Increases stability, Moderately controls recoil, Slightly decreases handling speed
  • Accelerated Coils – Faster charge time, Decreases impact damage
  • Reconstruction – This weapon slowly reloads itself over time, up to double capacity.
  • Chill Clip – Direct hits with the top half of the magazine cause a detonation that slows nearby targets.

For PVP Extended Barrel, Accelerated Coils, Firmly Planted and Golden Tricorn would be good.

  • Extended Barrel – Increases range, Decreases handling speed, Moderately controls recoil
  • Accelerated Coils – Faster charge time, Decreases impact damage
  • Firmly Planted – Increased accuracy, stability, and handling when firing while crouched.
  • Golden Tricorn – Final blows with this weapon grant bonus damage. While this buff is active, grenade or melee kills of the same damage type greatly increase its damage and duration.
