Season of the Seraph

How to get Albruna-D (Gambit Sniper Rifle) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Albruna-D is a sniper added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of the Seraph. This is the Gambit weapon for the season, which means it’s fairly easy to get, however, will it survive in a crowded Sniper scene and will this one live up to the hype? Today I am going to check out Albruna-D, look at the stats, perks, god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE plus look at how to get Albruna-D in Destiny 2.

How to get Albruna-D

To get the Albruna-D you’ll need to compete in Gambit matches and it’s a random drop from the end of gambit matches. You can also get this from ranking up with The Drifter in the Tower. It’s not currently part of Drifter’s focusing options in Season of the Seraph, given it was introduced this season. In the future, it’ll be part of The Drifter’s weapon offer for focusing. Be aware though, focusing costs a significant amount of materials.

Albruna-D

Albruna-D is a Legendary Energy Sniper Rifle with an Aggressive Frame meaning high damage, high recoil. Looking at the stats we have Impact 90, Range 71, Stability 28, Handling 26, Reload Speed 31, Airborne Effectiveness 3, Rounds Per Minute 72, Magazine 3.

We have a couple of Origin Traits for this one.

  • Gun and Run – Rapidly defeating targets with this weapon grants bonus sprint speed. Guardians, powerful combatants, and high-value targets grant this bonus quicker.
  • Hakke Breach Armaments – This weapon deals increased damage against vehicles, turrets, barricades, and Stasis crystals.

The Albruna-D is a strange one. AT first glance it doesn’t look like it’s going to be great in PVE content given it only has 3 in the magazine. However, it can roll with triple tap and firing line, which could be good, if you can deal with the amount of reloading. For PVP it’s a slow firing 72 rpm sniper, meaning there are better options again, even if it can roll with snapshot sights. Gun and Run might be useful, the Gambit Origin Trait, but you’re going to have to hit your headshots to activate the perk, given the small magazine size again. It’s an interesting one for sure, let me know what you think of it.

Albruna-D God Roll Guide

For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Appended Mag, Triple Tap, and Firing Line would be good.

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Appended Mag – Increases magazine size
  • Triple Tap – Rapidly landing precision hits will return one round to the magazine.
  • Firing Line – This weapon deals increased precision damage when near two or more allies.

For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Accurized Rounds, Elemental Capacitor and Snapshot Sights would be good.

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Accurized Rounds – Increases range
  • Elemental Capacitor – Increased stats based on the currently equipped subclass. Solar increases your reload speed. Arc increases handling. Void increases stability. Stasis moderately controls recoil and increases movement speed when aiming down sights.
  • Snapshot Sights – Faster time to aim down sights
