Season of the Seraph

How to get Rose (Legendary Hand Cannon) in Destiny 2

Rose is back, re-introduced in Season of the Seraph. This is a great hand cannon that can compete with any 140 rpm hand cannon, plus it looks and sounds fantastic in game. Today I am going to have a look at the stats, perks, the god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE, plus look at how to get Rose in Destiny 2.

How to get Rose

To get Rose you will need to complete the quest from Shaxx. Currently he’s offering a quest called ‘Dividing the Ladder’, where you have to take part in the competitive playlist in cruicble. Once you complete the quest, you’ll get a static roll of Rose. As well as the hand cannon Rose, you’ll get access to weekly challenges related to the competitive division. Once per week you’ll be able to complete a challenge in comp and you’ll get a random rolled version of Rose. Therefore, you’ll have 3 chances per week to get random rolls, if you have 3 guardians on your account.

The challenges are not related to getting a specific rank in the Competitive Division, so no need to worry there, this weapon won’t be gated off for just the best players. Rose can only be obtained in the Competitive Division at the moment in Destiny 2. This may change later on, but for now, this is where you need to go to get your hands on a brand new version of Rose.

Rose

Rose is a Legendary Kinetic Hand Cannon with a Lightweight Frame meaning it has superb handling. Move faster with this weapon equipped. Looking at the stats we have Impact 84, Range 43, Stability 45, Handling 60, Reload Speed 55, Airborne Effectiveness 20, Rounds Per Minute 140, and Magazine 11.

  • Tactical Mag – Slightly increases stability, Increases reload speed, Slightly increases magazine size
  • Rapid Hit – Rapid precision hits temporarily increase stability and reload speed.
  • Explosive Payload – Projectiles create an area-of-effect detonation on impact.

  • Smallbore – Increases range and stability
  • Accurized Rounds – Increases range
  • Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.
  • Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack. (Vorpal weapon is also good)
