How to get The Militia’s Birthright (Legendary Grenade Launcher) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

The Militia’s Birthright is back in Destiny 2 are a short hiatus, and this is one devastating grenade launcher to add to your arsenal. Originally released with vanilla Destiny 2, it’s back to cause mayhem in both PVP and PVE. Today I am going to check out the stats, perks and god rolls to chase in PVE and PVP, plus look at how to get The Militia’s Birthright in Destiny 2.

Without further delay, let’s get into the details.

How to get The Militia’s Birthright

To get this one you’ll have to run nightfall strikes when The Militia’s Birthright is available as a reward. This grenade launcher is one of the featured Nightfall weapons this season, and has a chance at dropping if you complete a Nightfall. The harder the nightfall, the more likely the drop. I wouldn’t do anything less than Legend Nightfalls. If you complete a Grandmaster Nightfall when it’s available, then you’ll have the chance to get an Adept version of The Militia’s Birthright.

This one also comes with a couple of origin traits, Stunning Recovery and Vanguard’s Vindication.

  • Stunning Recovery – Stunning a Champion partially refills your magazine, triggers health regeneration and improves recovery for a short duration.
  • Vanguard’s Vindication – Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of health.

The Militia’s Birthright

The Militia’s Birthright is a Legendary Kinetic Grenade Launcher with a Lightweight Frame meaning it’s a one-shot handheld Grenade Launcher with remote detonation. Looking at the stats we have Blast Radius 100, Velocity 72, Stability 23, Handling 69, Reload Speed 63, Rounds Per Minute 90 and Magazine 1.

The Militia’s Birthright is back, having previous been sunset in Destiny 2. Both the regular and Adept versions are available through Nightfall strikes. It’s a versatile grenade launcher, with rolls suitable for both PVE and PVP, even though grenade launchers have fallen out of favour in terms of what’s meta this season. The sandbox tends to ebb and flow though, so it’s worth picking it up and saving it for later. It’s also a decent kinetic weapon as it is today.
