How to get Mechabre (Legendary Sniper Rifle) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2
Mechabre is a very good sniper added to Destiny 2 as part of Festival of the Lost. This one is an aggressive frame, and Eva seems to be dishing out god rolls left, right and centre at the moment, especially if you like PVP. Early reviews are in, and many are saying this is one of the best snipers in the game, so today I am going to check out Mechabre in more detail, check out the stats, perks, origin trait, plus the god roll guide for PVP and PVE, and look at that all important info for how to get Mechabre in Destiny 2.
How to get Mechabre in Destiny 2
To get this new Sniper you have to take part in Festival of the Lost activities. It can drop as part of the rewards package from Haunted Sectors, plus you can also get a version of this weapon by doing the introduction quest with Eva Levante in the Tower.
Speak to Eva, pick up the Spectral Pages gift she gives you and then go into Haunted Sectors and complete the activity. You’ll convert your Spectral Pages into Manifested Pages, then you want to go back to the Tower and interact with the Pedestal next to Eva. Once you’ve done this, speak to Eva again, and she’ll give you an excellent PVP roll of Mechabre with Snapshot Sights and Opening Shot.
I found completing Haunted Sectors is a great way to get this to drop, Mechabre seems to be dropping on a very regular basis. You can also craft this weapon, you’ll need a few red-bordered versions of Mechabre to drop, then level them up to get the pattern. Other seasonal weapons require up to 5 deep sight resonance extracts to get the pattern, and it’s a similar deal here.
Mechabre
Mechabre is a Legendary Energy Sniper Rifle with an Aggressive Frame meaning it delivers high damage, and high recoil. Looking at the stats we have Impact 90, Range 74, Stability 28, Handling 26, Reload Speed 30, Rounds Per Minute 72 and Magazine 3.
Mechabre is a good all rounder. It’s got a low zoom when aiming down sights, meaning it’s a great option for PVP. Given it can roll with Snapshot Sights and Opening Shot, I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of this in PVP from now on. It’s also an Aggressive Frame with Arc damage, meaning its going to fit into those arc builds very nicely this season and beyond.
This one also has the origin trait Search Party where the weapon is granted faster aim-down sights speed and movement speed while aiming down sights when no allies are near. All in all, this has the potential to become one of the best snipers in the game right now.
