Electrified Endgame with Getaway Artist Warlock Arc 3.0 Build in Destiny 2

As a Warlock, there’s a way to get amplified almost 100% of the time, plus spawn autonomous turrets to help you out in all levels of content. Today I am going to run through this endgame-ready Warlock Arc 3.0 build with Getaway Artist, check out the Arc 3.0 setup, the weapons, armour and mods, so you can take on endgame Destiny 2 content as an electrified Warlock today.

Arc 3.0 Setup

  • Super: Chaos Reach
  • Grenade: Skip Grenade
  • Melee: Chain Lightning
  • Class Ability: Healing Rift

Aspects

Arc Soul – Cast your Rift to create an Arc Soul that fires at targets in front of you. Allies can pass through your Rift to get an Arc Soul. Your Rift charges faster when allies are near. While amplified, your Arc Souls are supercharged and gain an increased fire rate.

Electrostatic Mind – Defeating targets with Arc abilities or defeating jolted or blinded targets creates an Ionic Trace. Collecting an Ionic Trace makes you amplified.

Fragments

Spark of Amplitude – Rapidly defeating targets while you are amplified creates an Orb of Power.
Spark of Beacons – When the player is amplified, Arc’s special weapon kills creating a blinding explosion.
Spark of Recharge – While critically wounded, your melee and grenade energy regenerate more quickly.
Spark of Resistance – When surrounded by enemies, the player has increased damage resistance.

Exotic Armor – Getaway Artist

Getaway Artist are Exotic Warlock Gauntlets and comes with the perk

Dynamic Duo – Convert your Arc grenade into an Arc Soul and become amplified. The Arc Soul functions as an autonomous turret.

Mobility Enhancement Mod – Increased mobility

You can get this one from Xur or the gift in Season of Plunder, Gift of the Thunder Gods in the H.E.L.M.

Weapons

Kinetic – Succession

Succession is a legendary kinetic Sniper Rifle which is an Aggressive Frame Sniper, meaning high damage, high recoil. This is a great PVE sniper because of it’s huge damage output, plus also the Deep Stone Crypt perk Reconstruction. Reconstruction is where the weapon slowly reloads itself over time, up to double capacity.

Energy – Horror’s Least

Horror’s Least is a Legendary Energy Pulse Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when the magazine is empty. Heating Up and Vorpal Weapon is a good roll.

Heating Up – Final blows with this weapon increase accuracy and stability while improving vertical recoil.
Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.

Power – Thunderlord

This is an exotic heavy machine gun, which delivers arc damage, and has the perks:

Reign Havoc – Kills with this weapon generate lightning strikes from above.
Feeding Frenzy – Each rapid kill with this weapon progressively increases reload speed for a short time.
Why use it in Season 18?
Thunderlord is great for Arc builds, plus you have that intrinsic Overload.

Mods

  • Melee Wellmaker – Powered melee combatant final blows spawn elemental wells matching your subclass energy type.
  • Bountiful Wells – Elemental well mods that cause you to spawn elemental wells can now stack, spawning additional wells for each additional copy of the mod you have equipped.
  • Font of Might – Picking up an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type grants a temporary bonus to weapon damage
  • Anti-Barrier Sniper
  • Unstoppable Pulse Rifle

Amplified

An amplified Guardian is faster—both in terms of movement speed and in terms of their weapon handling—and more agile, able to perform long slides that can function as a devastating setup for some of the attacks that follow. Players don’t need to equip any specific Aspects or Fragments to become amplified. By default, all Arc classes become amplified after rapidly defeating targets with any Arc damage, and equipped Aspects and Fragments offer additional ways to become or benefit from being amplified. After sprinting for a few seconds, an amplified Guardian will gain another boost in speed, gaining a sizable PvE damage resistance buff, and enabling an even-longer slide ability.

This is a useful endgame Warlock Arc 3.0 build for Season of Plunder and focuses on getting amplified, creating arc souls and using the champion mods for the season. If you’re checking out this guide in the future, then you can always use different champion mods and weapons, depending on what the meta and mods are at the time.

First of all, I am using Getaway Artist, which allows Warlocks to become amplified very easily this season, just by eating a grenade. There are speed benefits for becoming amplified, but also Warlocks get a ‘sizable PvE damage resistance buff’ as described in the Amplified description. This is going to come in use for endgame PVE content like raids, lost sectors, and nightfalls of all levels.

When we are amplified we’re going to use fragments to get additional benefits. Spark of Amplitude is going to help us create Orbs of Power, which is going to help us get our super back nice and quickly, and let us unleash chaos reach, which is going to give us some big damage output, useful for big enemies and bosses. Spark of Beacons is going to help us create blinding explosions with Arc weapons, and blinding opponents in PVE content will help us get through them faster.

I’m using a combination of champion mods and weapons here, so this is going to cater for any mix of champions in endgame PvE content. I’m using succession with Anti-barrier Sniper. Succession is a great weapon, one that can be found in the Deep Stone Crypt Raid on Europa. If you don’t have this one, then swap it out for another Sniper. I’m using Horror’s Least, this is an arc Pulse Rifle. Arc weapons in the energy and power slots are important, but if you don’t have Horror’s Least then swap is out for another Arc Pulse Rifle. I am using this for Unstoppable Champions this season. Finally, I am using Thunderlord, which now has built-in Overload champion capability. All of these together mean we can take out any and all champions.

Another benefit of this build is the near-constant Arc buddies or Arc Souls created when we drop a well due to our Healing Rifts, plus also as part of our exotic perk on Getaway Artist. Arc Souls act as autonomous turrets and are going to help us in all content, whether that’s PVE or PVP, these turrets are going to help you clean up smaller enemies and lay constant damage on other enemies in the game.
