Season of the Plunder

How to get Strident Whistle (Legendary Bow) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Strident Whistle is a Solar Bow added to Destiny 2 in Season of the Haunted. This is a versatile bow, with some great perks, and when we have Champion Mods related to Bows, this is going to be a great option. Today I am going to check out the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Strident Whistle in Destiny 2.

How to get Strident Whistle

To get this one you’ll want to run Vanguard Ops, and it’s a random drop from the end of activities. You can farm Vangaurd Ops, which are old-school strikes or more modern Battlegrounds activities. You can also equip Prosperity, a ghost mod, and that’ll give you a boost in your chances to get a Vanguard weapon to drop for you.

Strident Whistle

Strident Whistle is a Legendary Energy Combat Bow with a Precision Frame Compound Bow. Longer draw time optimized for damage. Looking at the stats we have Impact 76, Accuracy 74, Stability 41, Handling 50, Reload Speed 40, and Draw Time 684.

Strident Whistle is not only powerful, but it’s quite easy to get to given you can farm Vanguard Ops. It has one of the best perk pools related to Bows this season, although there are a lot of perks, given it’s a playlist legendary drop, so getting the exact roll you want could be tricky.

We also have Overload Bow mods in the seasonal artefact this season in Season of Plunder, so Strident Whistle is going to find more of an audience this time around. When originally introduced in Haunted, we didn’t have champion mods associated with Bows, so hopefully, more players get this bow in their hands and see exactly how good this thing is.

Strident Whistle God Roll Guide

For PVE Well-rounded and Incandescent would be good.

  • Well-rounded – Throwing a grenade or hitting a target with a charged melee grants a stacking bonus to weapon stability, handling, and range. Using a Super grants maximum stacks.
  • Incandescent – Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.

For PVP Archer’s Tempo and Opening Shot would be good.

  • Archer’s Tempo – Draw time decreases after every precision hit.
  • Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack.
