How to get Doom of Chelchis (King’s Fall Scout Rifle) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Doom of Chelchis of back as part of Season of Plunder via the King’s Fall Raid. This was a monster Scout Rifle hack in Destiny 1 and it brings with it a VERY unique and explosive perk combination of Firefly and Dragonfly together for the first time ever. Today I am going to take a closer look at Doom of Chelchis, look at the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE, plus look at how to get Doom of Chelchis in Destiny 2.

How to get Doom of Chelchis

To get this one you are going to need to run the King’s Fall Raid, which is the returning Destiny 1 raid, now in Destiny 2 as part of Season of Plunder. You can access this via the Legends location on the Director. You will need five other people to run with, and you can either do this with friends, or clanmates or find randoms via LFG. I recommend the Bungie app for this. In Lightfall it’s going to be much easier with in-game LFG, but for now, we’re going to have to use tools outside the game.

To get Doom of Chelchis this is a potential reward from the first two encounters, The Door and Totems. There’s also a secret chest before Totems, so if you’ve had it drop for you before, then you could get it from the secret chest too.

Doom of Chelchis

This is a Legendary Scout Rifle which deals void damage and is well worth getting because this can roll with some unique perk combinations. Looking at the stats we have 68 for impact, 49 for range, 40 for stability, 53 handling, and 44 reload speed, it’s a 180 rounds per minute scout rifle with 18 in the magazine.

First column perks: Explosive Payload, Rangefinder, Firefly, Unrelenting, Adaptive Munitions, Opening Shot, Vorpal Weapon, Steady Hands

Second column perks: Eye of the storm, One for All, Dragonfly, Focused Fury, Frenzy, Repulsor Brace

For PVE Firefly and Dragonfly would be a good roll. This is a very unique roll which is going to allow many, many explosions when using the weapon.

  • Firefly – Precision kills with this weapon increase reload speed and cause the target to explode, dealing Solar damage to nearby enemies.
  • Dragonfly – Precision kills create an elemental damage explosion.

For PVP Vorpal Weapon and Focused Fury would be a decent roll.

  • Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.
  • Focused Fury – Dealing half of the magazine as precision damage grants this weapon bonus damage. The shot count is reset whenever the weapon is reloaded or stowed.
