Season of the Plunder

How to get Ammit-AR2 (Legendary Auto Rifle) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

The Ammit-AR2 is a new Solar Auto Rifle added to Destiny 2 in Season of Plunder, and this one could be the best Solar Auto Rifle in the game, which is great for Solar 3.0 builds. Today I am going to look at the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus have a look at how to get Ammit-AR2 in Destiny 2.

How to get Ammit-AR2

This is a world drop weapon, so you’ll be able to get this from playlist activities like Vanguard Ops, Crucible and Gambit matches. Plus, Banshee-44 will be selling it sometimes, so it’s worth checking him out in the tower, his inventory refreshes on Tuesdays at reset time.

There is a guaranteed way to get this weapon in the game right now, and for this, you have to head to Mars, specifically the Enclave. This looks like a new tutorial quest added to the game this season. Go to the Enclave, which is accessed via Mars next to Savathun’s Throne World. Once you are there you’ll need to pick up the ‘Ascendant Alloy Requisition’ quest, and you will have to have completed the Enigma Quest to pick up the quest.

You’ll get given a red-bordered version of Ammit AR2. You will be asked to get some Ascendant Alloy by completing a weekly mission on Savathun’s Throne World. Once you have done that you’ll get another red bordered with some more objectives. What you want to do here is then complete the Deepsight Resonance on both of these Ammit AR2 weapons, and then you’ll be directed back to the Enclave to craft a version of Ammit AR2.

In summary, there are a couple of ways to get it.

  • You can get it as a world drop weapon
  • Look out in Banshee-44’s inventory (it refreshes on Tuesday)
  • Craft your own version by doing the quest at The Enclave (make sure you’ve done the Enigma quest first)

Ammit-AR2

Ammit-AR2 is a Legendary Energy Auto Rifle with a Precision Frame meaning this weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 29, Range 61, Stability 45, Handling 46, Reload Speed 38, Rounds Per Minute 450, and Magazine 32.

Last season was the Season of Solar Weapons and Builds, however, this season we had delivered probably the best Solar Auto Rifle in the game with the Ammit-AR2. It can roll with the best Solar perk in the game right now, Incandescent, so this one is going to be great for Solar 3.0 builds.

Ammit-AR2 God Roll Guide

Ambitious Assassin and Surplus are great perks for the left column. Incandescent is going to be most people’s pick for PVE, but then Tap the trigger, Adrenaline Junkie and Pugilist is very good. This one has Omolon Fluid Dynamics the perk reads “The top half of the magazine has up to 20 Stability and 30 Reload Speed. Stat Bonus decreases as the magazine gets lower, and disappears at 50%.” That turns this thing into a laser beam of an Auto Rifle.

For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Flared Magwell, Ambitious Assassin, and Incandescent would be good.

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Flared Magwell – Slightly increases stability, Greatly increases reload speed
  • Ambitious Assassin – Overflows the magazine based on the number of rapid kills before reloading
  • Incandescent – Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius

For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Dynamic Sway Reduction, Tap The Trigger

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
  • Dynamic Sway Reduction – Improves accuracy and stability while continuously holding down the trigger
  • Tap The Trigger – Grants a short period of increased stability and accuracy on initial trigger pull
