Infinite Abilities Heart of Inmost Light Titan Void 3.0 Build in Destiny 2
Titans have a reputation for punching thing to get their own way, and today I’m going to put together a Titan Void 3.0 build with Heart of Inmost Light, plus a combination of mods, weapons plus void aspects and fragments to give your Titan almost infinite abilities, making those punches harder, you’ll be throwing shields, gaining over shields, which is going to make you tough as nails in PVE content.
This build is all about maximising your abilities, allowing you to constantly throw grenades, throw your void shield, plus get overshields, so you can run in there and be at the vanguard of any fireteam and break through your enemy defences.
Without further delay let’s have a look at the build in detail.
Void 3.0 Setup
Super – Ward of Dawn
Ability – Towering Barricade
Melee – Shield Throw
Grenade – Your preference
Aspects
Offensive Bulwark – While you have an Overshield or are inside Ward of Dawn, your grenade charges significantly faster, you have increased melee range and damage, and melee final blows extend the duration of your Overshield. You gain an additional shield throw while in Sentinel Shield.
Bastion – Cast your Super to grant Overshield to nearby allies. Casting your Barricade grants Overshield to yourself and nearby allies and empowers it, enabling it to slowly regenerate the Overshield of allies bunkering behind it and extend their Overshield duration.
Fragments
Echo of Leeching – Melee final blows start health regeneration for you and nearby allies.
Echo of Reprisal – Final blows when surrounded by combatants grant Super energy.
Echo of Undermining – Your Void grenades weaken targets.
Exotic Armor
Heart of Inmost Light
This is an Exotic Titan Chest Armor and it comes with the perk
Overflowing Light – Using an ability (grenade, melee, or Barricade) empowers the other two abilities. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hit points.
You can get this one from Exotic engrams, farm nightfalls and also you can buy this one from Xur via his exotic engram.
Weapons
Kinetic – Witherhoard
This one comes with Primevals Torment – Projectiles fired by this weapon light the target or nearby area on impact. It also comes with Break the Bank – Blighted Targets take more damage over time and blight the nearby area on death. Witherhoard is a 90 RPM grenade launcher and holds 6 shots, but can only be shot one at a time.
You can either shoot directly at the target for maximum damage, or you can shoot next to the enemy to cause partial damage or essentially create a trap that sits on the floor damaging over time. You can get this one from the Monuments to Lost Lights Exotic Kiosk in the Tower.
The kinetic slot is down to personal preference. Witherhoard is a decent Exotic Kinetic weapon, but you are welcome to use anything you think is good. Stasis Fusion Rifles are also in fashion at the moment with Riptide being a favourite.
Energy – Funnelweb
Funnelweb is a Legendary Energy Submachine Gun with a Lightweight Frame meaning it has superb handling. Move faster with this weapon equipped. For PVE Corkscrew Rifling, Tactical Mag, Subsistence, and Frenzy would be a good roll. For PVP Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, Killing Wind and Rangefinder would be good. Funnelweb is a world drop weapon this season, meaning you can get it from many sources including opening legendary engrams, levelling up at the Gunsmith, public events, and Lost Sectors. Plus Banshee-44 sells it sometimes, so keep an eye out on his inventory.
Power – Threaded Needle
This is a great Linear Fusion Rifle, plus mine has Vorpal Weapon. If you don’t have this swap it out for another void power weapon, for example, Falling Guillotine is also very. The key thing is to have a void weapon here, so maximise the use of Elemental Wells.
Mods
- Ashes to Assets – Gain bonus Super energy on grenade kills.
- Font of Might – Picking up an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type grants a temporary bonus to weapon damage of that same elemental type.
- Melee Wellmaker – Powered melee combatant final blows spawn elemental wells matching your subclass energy type.
- Reaping Wellmaker – After activating your class ability, your next weapon final blow on a combatant spawns a Void elemental well.
- Discipline – Get as close to 100 as possible to maximise the grenade output for the build
The build is focused around Heart of Inmost Light, which has the perk Overflowing Light. Using an ability (grenade, melee, or Barricade) empowers the other two abilities. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hit points. This is going to be the central piece of the puzzle, and around this, we’re going to build our Void Titan, we’ll improve ability regeneration so it’s nice and fast, and we’ll be throwing grenades and shields until the enemy can’t take anymore.
Our Void Aspects and Fragments do a lot of good work here. Offensive Bullwark is going to improve the grenade regeneration when you have an overshield, or when you are inside Ward of Dawn. Through Bastion and casting our Barricade, we’re going to granting not only ourselves and overshield, but we’re going to be helping out our fireteam at the same time. These things are going to work hand in hand and bolster the speed at which we’re gaining abilities.
The combination of our exotic armour and void 3.0 set-up is going to be a great start, but this is further boosted by our weapons and mods. Given we have a void build, I will be using void weapons and that’s going to help us create Elemental Wells, which in turn is going to top up our abilities. We’re looking for good void weapons, I’m running the build with Funnelweb, one of the best void SMGs in the game at the moment, and also quite easy to get. The power slot is also void, although there are a few options. If you want a little range, I’d recommend a Linear Fusion Rifle like THreaded Needle, or if you want to go in up close and personal, then a void Sword like Falling Guillotine may be better for you.
Let me know in the comments what you think of the build, and if you have any improvements share them in the comments with the community.
