How to get the Reaper Title (Season of the Haunted Seal) in Destiny 2
Season of the Haunted is soon coming to a close, and while the story may have finished, you may have gotten all the loot you want, one objective may remain, and that’s finishing up the seasonal title. Today I am going to run through all the triumphs for the Haunted Seal, so you can proudly show off your achievements in Season of the Haunted.
This Seal and it’s triumphs is going to take you all over the content for Season of the Haunted. You’ll be doing Nightmare Containments, Sever Missions, finding secrets and defeating bosses. If you want to, once completed you can pick up the IRL Seal from the Bungie Store, personally I’ve started collecting these over the past few seasons and it’s a highlight for me. Without further delay, let’s dive into the requirements for the Season of the Haunted Seal.
Reaper Title Required Triumphs
Severance
Complete all seven steps for the Bound in Sorrow mission. This triumph is nice and easy, simply complete the story content for the season, by visiting the Crown of Sorrow in the H.E.L.M. plus the Nightmare Containment and Sever missions.
Vendor Upgrades Unlocked
Unlock all 18 upgrades for the Crown of Sorrow. You get various upgrade materials throughout the season, but these can also be found on the Seasonal Missions in weeks 1-10.
Tritainment
Successfully defeat each Tier 3 Nightmare Containment boss: Elykris, the Machinist; Anaphex, Sworn to Otzot; and Navota, Eir-Spawn. This is another straight forward triumph, simply defeat all the different variations of bosses for the Nightmare Containment activity.
Harvester of Sorrows
Bind Nightmares after completing Tier 3 Nightmare Containment activities. For this one you want to complete the Nightmare Containment activity and then make sure you interact with the object behind the loot chest to Bind the Nightmare.
Malicious Haunt
Defeat combatants and Guardians with Season of the Haunted weapons. Defeated Guardians grant additional progress. For this one you want to be using Season of the Haunted weapons.
Reaper’s Blade
Defeat combatants on the Derelict Leviathan with the Scythe. During the Nightmare Containment activity, make sure you are picking up the scythe and using it, as this is going to help you complete this triumph.
Opulent Avarice
Open locked chests with Opulent Keys on the Derelict Leviathan. For this one, get Opulent Keys either from the end of Nightmare Containment Activities, or from random chests. Remember, you can only carry one at a time, so if you have one in your inventory, try to use it immediately, as you’ll then be able to pick up another one. If you keep hold of your Opulent Key, then no more are going to drop for you.
Hear, Don’t Head
In Sever activities, find and listen to all six of Calus’ automatons. There are six automatons in the Sever missions, I have a guide on where to find these, so you can check out that full guide here.
1 Fan
Collect all of the dignified effigies of Calus aboard the Derelict Leviathan and proudly display them in the H.E.L.M. Again, I have a full guide on that one here.
Shadow’s Return Triumphs
For this one, you have to complete 12 other triumphs. This one is all about defeating specific enemies on the Derelict Leviathan, these are Loyalist Threats, Powerful Nightmares and various individual bosses.
Fever Dream
There are powerful Nightmares in the Haunted Alcoves on the Leviathan, kill them and claim the triumph.
Sporest of Beasts – Clear the Haunted Alcove by the resting hounds. Kill Nightmare of Carun, Beastmaster.
You can complete Sporest of Beasts in the Pleasure Gardens, find the large statue of Calus and go in the hole at his feet. Inside there are some War Beasts, kill them to summon Nightmare of Carun, Beastmaster.
Nightmare Breached – Clear the Haunted Alcove opposite Calus by killing Nightmares of Kra’lok, the Sword, and Ha’lok, the Shield.
These two enemies are also found in the Pleasure Garden, just to the left of the stairs. Go up the rocks and look for the small hole in the wall that leads to a room and then defeat the Scorn until the Kra’lok and Ha’lok bosses spawn, then kill them.
Drainage – Clear the Haunted Alcove connected to an old, unused passage by killing Nightmare of Qalec, the Sniper.
This one can be complete in the Royal Pools. To find the boss Qalec, the Sniper, go in the Royal Pools and go over to the right area. Right at the back there is a hole in the ground, jump down into the hole and defeat all the enemies.
Ritual Under Shadow – Clear the Haunted Alcove passageway containing Nightmare of Sy’ad, the Unending.
This is another one that can be completed in the Royal Pools. Go to the back of the Royal Pools areas and enter the door on the left. Light the 3 torches on the ground and the boss appears, defeat all the nightmares and also the boss too.
A Guardian is a Guardian, Even in a Nightmare
Defeat Calus’ Loyalist forces aboard the Derelict Leviathan and claim the associated Triumphs.
At the Behest of the Empress – Defeat Au’gor, Devoted of Calus and Jai’ek, Supplicant of Calus.
For this one we have to defeat two bosses. They are found in the Royal Pools area. Go into the Royal Pools area and activate the blue beacon on the left (if it’s not there when you go in, wait a little bit and it will appear). Two friendly Cabal, from Caital’s clan, will help you. Fight up the stairs at the back of the room and defeat the enemies until the bosses appear, then kill them.
Exile Ended – Defeat a Loyalist commander and release its prisoner.
This one is in the Pleasure Gardens. A prisoner is in a solar dome, watch out for that dome, defeat the guard to release the prisoner.
Battle Lines – Defeat a Loyalist force defending their territory and bring down the Loyalist Sentinel Commander.
The Battle Lines Triumph can be completed in the Royal Pools and Pleasure Garden. You must kill the boss called Loyalist Sentinel Commander. Look out for the on-screen text: Loyalist Sentinels have fortified a position. Search the area for the large Solar dome shield. Go inside, defeat all the enemies, and destroy the shield generator. Repeat this for the next two shields in the area. Once all three Solar shields are destroyed, you will be able to defeat the boss, Loyalist Sentinel Commander.
Shared Fears – Defeat Cek’ik, Seeker of the Deep, linked by an old bond of war.
Check out the Royal Pools area and wait for the text on screen that says: “Three powerful Nightmares haunt the Leviathan.” Then find each of the powerful Nightmares around the egde of the area defeat them all, then a boss will spawn in the middle, defeat him and that’s the triumph complete.
Get to Taking Out Their Commanders, One by One
On the Derelict Leviathan, defeat Nightmare of Ky’leks, the Docked, and Nightmare of Evoks, the Burned within the Royal Pools. These enemies spawn as High-Value Targets, so while you are in the Royal Pools area, keep an eye out for text saying that one has spawned.
Controlled Burn
On the Derelict Leviathan, defeat Nightmare of Tlazet, Fed to Beasts, and Nightmare of Uaoc, Spine Breaker roaming within the Pleasure Gardens. These enemies spawn as High-Value Targets, so while you are in the Pleasure Gardens area, keep an eye out for text saying that one has spawned.
