Never Die with this Loreley Splendor Titan Solar 3.0 Build in Destiny 2

Titans are definitely one of the strongest classes when it comes to Solar 3.0. If you want to get into endgame content, Titan’s are one of the easiest classes to use, given the benefits of Loreley Splendor. Today I’m going to check out how to get Loreley Splendor, plus put together a Titan Solar 3.0 build, which makes you near impossible to kill. I’ll be running through the Solar setup, the weapons, armour and also the mods too.

The Loreley Splendor Helm is one of the best, if not the best stand-out exotic armour for Titans in Destiny 2, and with it you can create an incredible Solar 3.0 build, thanks to its intrinsic trait, allows you to survive through even the toughest of challenges. With Loreley Splendor, you can take advantage of Cauterizing Flame that creates a sunspot at the player’s location when they are critically wounded with full class ability. This sunspot has improved restoration effects and works in harmony with Classy Restoration and Sol Invictus.

Loreley Splendor was already good and popular, but Solar 3.0 builds have sent this one into the stratosphere. If you want to go in and complete solo challenges (like dungeons) for certain triumphs, this is the season to do it, while we have Classy Restoration. Even in PVP activities, this is going to help you out.

Another benefit introduced this season, which helps with this build is weapons with Incandescent. Weapons like Calus Mini-Tool and Drang are very good, although any weapon with Incandescent is good. The options I picked out there is personal preference, plus they use primary ammo, meaning you aren’t going to run out anytime soon.

How to get Loreley Splendor

Loreley Splendor is one of the newer Exotic pieces of armour introduced in Season 16. Previous to Beyond Light and these newer armour pieces being introduced, Exotic armour was acquired at random through Exotic engrams or campaign story content. Now, there’s a way to target farm Exotic armour pieces through Legend and Master Lost Sectors. If you complete these activities solo, then there’s a chance at the Exotic armour to drop for you. Every day the Legend and Master Lost Sectors rotate, with two available each day across the planets and moons.

As well as the location for Legend and Master Lost Sectors rotating, the rewards rotate too with different armour pieces for the head, arms, chest, and legs. If you want to check the location and the rewards, then you can do so in-game by completing the Lost Sectors on the regular difficulty, and then check on the map. The Legend and Master Lost sectors are indicated as a blue shield icon. Another good way to check is a great tool called todayindestiny.com. This will quickly tell you what the location is, plus what the reward is.

To get Loreley Splendor, you want to look out for the Exotic Helm Reward. Then if you complete the Legend or Master Lost Sector Solo as a Titan, you’ll have a chance for that reward. If you don’t get it the first time, keep trying and you’ll get it after a few tries.

Solar 3.0 Setup

Super – Hammer of Sol
Class ability – Towering Barricade
Melee – Throwing Hammers
Grenade – Fusion

Aspects

Roaring Flames – Final blows with Solar abilities or ignitions increase the damage of your Solar abilities. Stacks 3 times. While Roaring Flames is active, your uncharged melee attack deals Solar damage and scorches targets. A shard of obsidian, brimming with the light of day. Eons will pass before you fade.

Sol Invictus – Solar ability final blows, Hammer of Sol impacts, and defeating scorched targets creates Sunspots. Your abilities regenerate faster, and your Super drains more slowly while standing in a Sunspot. Sunspots apply scorch and deal damage to targets inside. Entering a Sunspot applies restoration. A golden medallion emblazoned with the symbol of a hammer, weighing heavy around your neck. Your inferno starts with a single flicker.

Fragments

  • Ember of Singeing – Class ability recharges faster when targets are scorched.
  • Ember of Solace – Radiant and restoration effects applied to players have increased duration.
  • Ember of Torches – Powered melee attacks against combatants make players and nearby allies radiant.
  • Ember of Wonder – Rapidly defeating multiple targets with Solar ignitions generates an Orb of Power. Adds +10 Resilience.

Exotic Armour

I’m using Loreley Splendor, which has the perk Cauterizing Flame. This is the key perk, of working in conjunction with Solar 3.0.

Cauterizing Flame – When you are critically wounded with full class ability energy or when you cast a Barricade, create a Sunspot at your location that has improved restoration effects.

Weapons

Kinetic – Burden of Guilt

The Burden of Guilt is a Legendary Kinetic Fusion Rifle with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. This is great because it’s a Stasis weapon and if you can get one with Chill Clip, that’s going to increase your effectiveness in PVE combat, as you’ll be freezing enemies while killing them.

Energy – Drang

Drang is a Legendary Energy Sidearm. I have one with Incandescent which means Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius. This is going to help spread scorch even more and work great with this Solar 3.0 build.

Power – Gjallarhorn

Gjallarhorn is an Exotic Power Rocket Launcher that fires solar damage and it comes with some pretty special perks

  • Wolfpack Rounds – Rounds fired split into tracking cluster missiles upon detonation.
  • Pack Hunter – Gain increased handling and reload speed when standing near allies. Firing this weapon also grants Wolfpack Rounds to nearby allies wielding non-Exotic Rocket Launchers.

You can get this one by owning the 30th-anniversary pack and visiting Shaw Han on the Cosmodrome.

Mods

This season Resilience has come to the forefront of this season, so having as high resilience as possible is going to really help you out if you’re looking to go into endgame content like raids and dungeons. Ideally, you’d be up there near 100, as this is going to give you a 40% damage resistance effect. I’m using some basic Elemental Well mods, plus also a charged with light mod to help boost damage output.

  • Elemental Ordnance – Defeating a combatant with a grenade spawns an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type.
  • Font of Might – Picking up an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type grants a temporary bonus to weapon damage
  • Classy Restoration – Activating your Solar class abilities grants your restoration
  • Elemental Charge – Become Charged with Light by picking up an elemental well. If the elemental well’s element type matches your subclass element, you gain 2 stacks of Charged with Light.
  • High Energy Fire – While Charged with Light, gain a bonus to weapon damage. Each defeated combatant consumes one stack of Charged with Light.

We’re creating Elemental Wells through our grenade kills. Then we’re using Font of Might to boost our weapon damage, given we’re picking up Solar elemental wells.

Let me know what you think of the build in the comments, and let me know if you have any improvements.
