How to get Drang (Baroque) Legendary Sidearm Plus God Roll Guide In Destiny 2

Drang is a returning Sidearm brought back into the loot pool as part of Season of the Haunted. This is a great sidearm, plus it works really well with the Exotic Hand Cannon Sturm. Today I’m going to check out the stats, perks and god rolls to chase for PVP plus PVE too, then have a look at how to get Drang in Destiny 2.

Drang is a Legendary Energy Sidearm. This one has a unique archetype called Together Forever. This weapon has a well-rounded adaptive grip, reliable and sturdy. Kills with this weapon reload Sturm and overflow bonus damage round into it. Looking at the stats we have Impact 49, Range 35, Stability 60, Handling 71, Reload Speed 30, Rounds Per Minute 300, and Magazine 18.

Drang has been completely reworked in terms of perks and its back as part of the Opulent set of weapons in Season of the Haunted. This has a unique archetype called Together Forever Archetype, which automatically reloads the Sturm Exotic Hand Cannon and overflows its magazine whenever players get a kill with Drang. This is also an Energy Solar weapon, meaning it can be part of Solar 3.0 builds this season, and it’s going to be especially good in PVP.

Drang God Roll Guide

For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Well-Rounded, Incandescent would be a good roll.

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, increases handling speed
  • Tactical Mag – Slightly increases stability, increases reload speed, slightly increases magazine size
  • Well-Rounded – Throwing a grenade or hitting a target with a charged melee grants a stacking bonus to weapon stability, handling, and range.
  • Incandescent – Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.

For PVP Corkscrew Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Quickdraw, Vorpal Weapon would be good.

  • Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range and stability, Slightly increases handling speed
  • Accurized Rounds – Increases range
  • Quickdraw – This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast.
  • Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.

We also have a new origin trait called “To Excess”. Final blows with the weapon, while your Super is full grant a bonus to strength and discipline for a moderate duration.

How to get Drang (Baroque)

To get Drang in Season of the Haunted you’ll want to open up Opulent Chests on the Derelict Leviathan. These Opulent Chests are located around the Leviathan, however, you can’t open them without an Opulent Key. You get Opulent Keys by opening loot chests on the Derelict Leviathan, and also you can get these at the end of the Nightmare Containment activity.

Once you have an Opulent Key, you then have to inspect the key to find the clue for the location of the chest. Your key only opens a specific chest, not all Opulent Chests. For example, I had a key saying “Pleasure Gardens, Guarded by a loyal companion”. As part of the clue, you’ll always get a location which will tell you which region on the Leviathan to explore, then you’ll have a vague line as to the specific location. With the “at the feet of greatness”, we have a statue of Calus in the Royal Pools, and at his feet, there is the chest.

When you open the Opulent Chests, you’ll have a chance at getting Drang. The loot pool for the Opulent chests is quite small; there are 4 rewards overall including Austringer Hand Cannon, Beloved Sniper, Calus Mini Tool Submachine Gun and Drang Sidearm.

You can also craft Opulent weapons, but first of all you need the pattern. When you get the weapon from the Opulent chest, there is a chance it’ll have a red border and you’ll get a Deepsight Resonance version. Once you get one of these you’ll need to use it to level it up and then extract the Resonant Element, which gives you progress towards the weapon pattern. You’ll need five Deepsight Resonance weapons and level them up to get the pattern for the weapon.

The Crown of Sorrow found in the H.E.L.M. offers some upgrades that will help players get Deepsight weapons quicker, for example, you get certain guarantees you’ll get Deepsight Resonance weapons from the first time you open an Opulent Chest. Unfortunately, these bonuses aren’t available until the third and fifth week of the season.
