How to get Cataclysmic (Linear Fusion Rifle) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2
Cataclysmic is a Linear Fusion Rifle added to Destiny 2 as part of the rewards for the Vow of the Disciple Raid found in the Witch Queen DLC. This linear fusion is a DPS monster and one you definitely will want to own. Today I am going to go through the stats, the perks, and the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus look at how to get Cataclysmic in Destiny 2.
Cataclysmic is a Legendary Power Linear Fusion Rifle with a Precision Frame meaning it fires a long-range precision energy bolt. This weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 41, Range 45, Stability, 53, Handling 38, Reload Speed 33, Charge Time 533, and Magazine 6.
Cataclysmic God Roll Guide
For PVE Hammer Forged Rifling, Liquid Coils, Fourth Time’s the Charm and High Impact Reserves would be a decent roll.
- Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increases range
- Liquid Coils – Increases impact damage, Slower charge time
- Fourth Time’s the Charm – Rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine.
- Clown Cartridge – Reloading this weapon randomly overfills it from reserves.
For PVP Hammer-Forged Rifling, Projection Fuse, Successful Warm-up and High Impact Reserves would be good.
- Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increases range
- Projection Fuse – Increases range
- Successful Warm-up – Each final blow increases charge speed.
- High Impact Reserves – Rounds at the end of the magazine deal more damage.
How to get Cataclysmic
To get Cataclysmic you’ll have to run the Witch Queen Raid called Vow of the Disciple. Cataclysmic has the chance to drop from the 1st and 2nd encounters, that’s Acquisition and Caretaker. To run the raid you’ll need access to the Witch Queen expansion, and you’ll have to find 5 other Guardians. You can either get some friends together, or run with some clanmates, or you can find other Guardians via LFG apps or forums. I recommend using the Bungie app, that’s available for iOS, Android or via bungie.net.
There’s also a chance at the end of the raid to trade in your spoils of conquest for weapons that have already dropped. You’ll collect spoils of conquest throughout the raid as they drop from encounters and secret chests. So if you want another roll of your Cataclysmic, then check out the vendor at the end of the raid.
Finally, Cataclysmic is craftable at the Relic near the Enclave. You’ll need to collect 5 red-bordered versions of the weapon, which means they have Deepsight Resonance. Once you have collected these, you’ll then need to level them all up to unlock the Pattern for Cataclysmic. Once you have the Pattern, you’ll be able to craft your very own version of Cataclysmic. You can get a red weapon in the raid each week if you successfully complete the raid puzzle.
Let me know in the comments what you think of Cataclysmic.
