How to get the Pointed Inquiry (Legendary Scout Rifle) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2
Pointed Inquiry is a new Scout Rifle added to Destiny 2 as part of the Witch Queen Expansion. This one hits hard, and is very versatile, meaning it’s going to be useful in many game modes. It’s a decent everyman tool for any job, rather than being a specialist weapon. Today I am going to take a closer look at the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE and also check out how to get Pointed Inquiry in Destiny 2.
Pointed Inquiry is a Legendary Energy Scout Rifle with a High-Impact Frame meaning it’s slow-firing and high-damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary and aiming down sights. Looking at the stats we have Impact 67, Range 71, Stability 30, Handling 33, Reload Speed 39, Rounds Per Minute 150, and Magazine 13.
For me this is a decent PVE weapon, although I don’t use it in PVP, given Scout Rifles can pretty much be outgunned by many other options in PVP. Scout Rifles have the advantage of being featured this season with the Anti Barrier mods on the seasonal artefact, giving Scout Rifles a much-needed boost. It’s not up there with Exotic Scout Rifles, but it’s still pretty good and worth giving a go.
Pointed Inquiry God Roll Guide
For PVE Corkscrew Rifling, Appended Mag, Fourth Times the Charm and Demolitionist is a decent roll.
- Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range, stability and handling
- Appended Mag – More round in the mag
- Fourth Times the Charm – Rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine.
- Demolitionist – Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
For PVP Fluted Barrel, Ricochet Rounds, Firmly Planted and Harmony is the one you want.
- Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed, slightly increases stability
- Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability and range
- Firmly Planted – Increased accuracy, stability, and handling when firing while crouched.
- Harmony – Final blows with other weapons improve this weapon’s damage and performance for a short duration.
How to get Pointed Inquiry
Pointed Inquiry is a Throne World weapon, meaning your best bet for getting one is to complete activities on the Throne World like Public Events, Lost Sectors and Fynch bounties. Ranking up at Fynch is going to be a good way to get one too. You can collect the red-bordered versions of the weapon and once you have enough you’ll be able to craft Pointed Inquiry.
