How to get Thoughtless (Legendary Sniper Rifle) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Thoughtless is a brand new Sniper added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of the Risen. This is a very strong Sniper, with great perks available for both PVE and PVP activities, making this a great choice whether you’re doing Nightfalls, Strikes, Crucible or Gambit. Today I am going to dive into the detail on Thoughtless, check out the stats and the best perks, the god rolls to chase plus how to get Thoughtless in Destiny 2.

Thoughtless

Thoughtless is a Legendary Kinetic Sniper Rifle with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 56, Stability 54, Handling 51, Reload Speed 50, Rounds Per Minute 90 and Magazine 4.

Thoughtless God Roll Guide

For PVE Fluted Barrel, Appended Mag, Overflow and Firing Line would be a good roll.

• Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed and Slightly increases stability
• Appended Mag – Increases magazine size
• Overflow – Picking up Special or Heavy ammo automatically loads this weapon beyond normal capacity.
• Firing Line – This weapon deals increased precision damage when near two or more allies.

Overflow and Firing Line is a great combination. If you can load up the weapon with ammo beyond the normal capacity with Overflow, then get that buff with Firing Line, this is going to be great for raids or Nightfalls where you can stand near your fireteam and take down that boss nice and quickly.

For PVP Fluted Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Perpetual Motion and Snapshot Sights would be good.

• Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed and Slightly increases stability
• Accurized Rounds – Increases range
• Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.
• Snapshot Sights – Faster time to aim down sights.

Snapshot Sights is almost a must on a PVP sniper, allowing you to get the edge on opponents. Perpetual Motion is great for Snipers if you’re moving around the map a lot.

How to get Thoughtless

To get this sniper you can get it from the seasonal activity in Season of the Risen called PsiOps Battleground. Run through the acitivity and open the chest at the end for a chance at a drop. This does mean you have to own the season pass for Season of the Risen. Open up the Runic chest at the end for 500 Psychogenic Intel, and maybe it’ll drop for you.

You can also get this one from the Season Pass, once you hit rank 30. This is a static roll on the weapon though, so everyone gets the same version. Another way of getting the weapon is through decrypting Umbral Engrams at the Wartable. You have to open up the bonus Weapon Decoding Clearance in the upgrades menu, then you get can random rolled versions of Thoughtless for a small fee of 50 Legendary Shards and 9 Umbral Energy.

Finally, you can craft this weapon. You’ll need the weapon pattern, which means collecting 5 red bordered versions of the weapon. This is down to RNG, but collect enough, level up the weapons to get the pattern and then craft Thoughtless at the Relic in the Enclave on the Throneworld node found on the Director.
