How to get the Vow of the Disciple Secret Chest Solo For Easy Raid Loot
There’s a quick and easy way to get easy raid loot solo in the new Vow of the Disciple raid. It’s a great way to get different rolls of weapons and also Spoils of Conquest. Today I am going to run through how to get this chest, so you can get easy raid loot solo each week.
What I’m going to do today is run through the method briefly, and then I’ll play out the clip for getting the secret chest. This can be done once per week on each character you have, and to open up the raid you simply have to complete the first mission of the Witch Queen Expansion. You have to have run through the raid and got at least one wepaon to drop, otherwise the secret chest is only going to give you spoils. That’s fine if you are looking for spoils, but ideally you want additional rolls of weapons, so you can get your hands on those god roll raid weapons.
Let’s run through the method first, then I’ll show you the whole route from start to finish.
First of all, load into the raid and you’ll want to defeat the Savathun Echo that’s hovering in front of the door. This shouldn’t take too long, then jump on your sparrow. You are looking for 3 Darkness Crux, and they look like little beacons floating in mid-air.
The first Darkness Crux is just to the left of where the Darkness Vehicle stops for the second time. This is near an area with a lot of branches on the ground. Look to the left and you’ll find the crux. Shoot it before Pervading Darkness reaches 10 stacks, otherwise you’ll die. It’s not a huge problem if you die, it’ll just save you some time.
The second Darkness Crux is at the Darkness Vehicle’s third stop. Look to the left, behind the pillars and you’ll find the Darkness Crux. Shoot it again, and it’s onto the final location.
The third Darkness Crux can be found under the bridge at the Darkness vehicle’s fourth stop. You’ll want to run and jump over to the other side, and then through a little gap, to find the final Darkness Crux. Shoot this and this will open the door to the secret chest.
From the third Darkness Crux location head forward and just to the right and you’ll go through a door, make your way to the back of the room and you’ll find the secret chest. Open it up and you’ll get easy solo raid loot, plus some spoils of conquest.
