How to get Piece of Mind (Legendary Pulse Rifle) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Piece of Mind is a new Pulse Rifle added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of the Risen. This is a new rapid-fire pulse rifle, which has been very popular in the past, and Piece of Mind looks set to continue that trend. Today I am going to check out the stats, the god roll guide for PVE and PVP plus how to get Piece of Mind in Destiny 2.

Piece of Mind

Piece of Mind is a Legendary Kinetic Pulse Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning it has Deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when the magazine is empty. Looking at the stats we have Impact 23, Range 38, Stability 51, Handling 34, Reload Speed 39, Rounds Per Minute 540, and Magazine 35.

This one also comes with the basic origin trait of Land Tank. This is where final blows with the weapon grant increased resilience and additional damage resistance from combatants.

Pulse Rifles are a great choice for everyone in Destiny 2. They are slightly more forgiving than hand cannons, plus they have a decent range and the ability to dispose of enemies in both PVE and PVP. Piece of Mind is a damn fine Pulse Rifle at that. We’ve had rapid-fire frame Pulse rifles before in Destiny 2, and they always go down well with the audience. I can already see Piece of Mind being used a hell of a lot in PVP, and I think this one is going to be near the top of the weapon charts for some time to come.

Piece of Mind God Roll Guide

For PVE Hammer-Forged Rifling, Appended Mag, Overflow, and Focused Fury would be a good roll.

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increases range
  • Appended Mag – This weapon’s magazine is built for higher capacity. Increases magazine size
  • Overflow – Picking up Special or Heavy ammo loads this weapon even further beyond normal capacity
  • Focused Fury – Dealing half of the magazine as precision damage grants this weapon bonus damage. The shot count is reset whenever the weapon is reloaded or stowed.

For PVP Smallbore, High-Calibre Rounds, Overflow, and Moving Target would be decent.

  • Smallbore – Increases range and stability
  • High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
  • Overflow – Picking up Special or Heavy ammo loads this weapon even further beyond normal capacity
  • Moving Target – Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights

Previously The Darkest Before was a very popular choice in PVP, and I think this one is going to follow in it’s footsteps. I’ve already seen CoolGuy showcase some skills with the weapon, so definitely head over to his channel to see some top-class Destiny 2 PVP gameplay and analysis.

How to get Piece of Mind

To get Piece of Mind you have to run the new seasonal activity in Season of the Risen called PsiOp Battleground. This can be accessed from the node in the HELM. You can also focus engrams at the Wartable in the HELM to get this weapon to drop for you. You can also get this weapon from the Season Pass at Rank 45. Given it’s a seasonal weapon, I imagine you need access to Season of the Risen’s content through the Season Pass.

The good news with Piece of Mind is it’s a craftable weapon, meaning you can shape your favorite roll of the weapon to suit what works for you.
