How to get Funnelweb (Legendary Submachine Gun) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Funnelweb is a new submachine gun added to Destiny 2 as part of the Witch Queen expansion. This has quickly risen up the most-wanted-weapon charts in recent days, given how deadly it can be in PVE and PVP. Today I am going to take a closer look at the weapon, the stats, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Funnelweb in Destiny 2.

Funnelweb is a Legendary Energy Submachine Gun with a Lightweight Frame meaning it has superb handling. Move faster with this weapon equipped. Looking at the stats we have Impact 15, Range 45, Stability 50, Handling 73, Reload Speed 38, Rounds Per Minute 900, Magazine 31.

There’s the new Veist Stinger origin trait on the weapon which allows it to reload when you are damaging an enemy. This is one of the main reasons this weapon is proving to be so popular at the moment. Funnelweb also has the potential to be good in PVP, although it’s going to struggle against stronger weapon types like hand cannons and shotguns. Funnelweb God Roll Guide

For PVE Corkscrew Rifling, Tactical Mag, Subsistence, and Frenzy would be a good roll.

• Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range and stability and slightly increases handling speed
• Tactical Mag – Slightly increases stability, Increases reload speed, Slightly increases magazine size
• Subsistence – Defeating targets partially reloads the magazine from reserves
• Frenzy – Being in combat for an extended time increases damage, handling, and reload for this weapon until you are out of combat.

For PVP Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, Killing Wind and Rangefinder would be good.

• Smallbore – Increases range, increases stability
• Accurized Rounds – Increases range
• Killing Wind – Final blows grant increased mobility, weapon range, and handling for a short duration
• Rangefinder – Aiming this weapon increases its effective range and zoom magnification. Increased projectile velocity while aiming Rocket Launchers, Grenade Launchers, and Bows

How to get Funnelweb

Funnelweb is a world drop weapon this season, meaning you can get it from many sources including opening legendary engrams, leveling up at the Gunsmith, public events, and Lost Sectors. I got mine from a public event as a random drop when I was running about on the Throneworld. There’s no 100% way to farm this weapon, so the best thing to do is complete activities that award world drop weapons and keep your fingers crossed.
