How to get Posterity (Legendary Hand Cannon) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Posterity is a hand cannon from the Deep Stone Crypt raid, and this one has some tasty rolls making it a very good hand cannon in PVE and PVP content. Today I am going to look at Posterity, plus look at the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Posterity in Destiny 2.

Posterity

Posterity is a Legendary Energy Hand Cannon with a Precision Frame meaning the recoil pattern on this weapon is more predictably vertical. Fires quickly with high accuracy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 78, Range 45, Stability 64, Handling 42, Reload Speed 61, Rounds Per Minute 180, and Magazine 13.

This is a 180 hand cannon in the energy slot and it deals arc damage. It’s a solid 180 hand cannon, and while the 180s don’t receive the hype that 140s do, it’s still worth trying out this hand cannon and seeing what you think of it.

The Deep Stone Crypt weapons have unique perks on them too. This one can roll with Reconstruction and Redirection. Reconstruction: This weapon slowly reloads itself over time, up to double capacity. Redirection: Damaging rank and file enemies increases damage against more powerful ones.

Posterity God Roll Guide

For PVE Corkscrew Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Reconstruction, and Rampage would be good. Corkscrew slightly increases range, handling, and stability, Accurized Rounds increases range. Reconstruction is where this weapon slowly reloads itself over time, up to double capacity. Then Rampage gives you increased damage after a kill, which stacks up to 3 times.

For PVP Full Bore, Tactical Mag, Killing Wind, and Opening Shot would be good. Full Bore greatly increases range, but at the cost of stability and handling speed. Tactical Mag slightly increases stability and mag size, and increases reload speed. Then Killing Wind boosts mobility, range, and handling after a final blow and the Opening Shot improves the accuracy and range on the opening shot of an attack.

How to get Posterity

To get Posterity you are going to need to run The Deep Stone Crypt Raid, found on Europa. At the time of making the guide, you do need the Beyond Light expansion for this. You get a chance at this weapon to drop for you from the third encounter in the raid, right before the main boss where you have to prevent Europa from being destroyed in the Rapture area.

Once you have the weapon to drop, you can then get other rolls from secret chests found in the raid. The first one is in the sparrow section, then the second one can be found roughly halfway through the jumping puzzle out in space. There is also a vendor at the end of the raid when you can purchase random rolled weapons for 20 spoils, which you should collect throughout the raid.

Let me know what you think in the comments of Posterity and let me know your top roll.
