How to get Commemoration (Legendary Machine Gun) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Commemoration is a great heavy-hitting machine gun in Destiny 2, and with the recent buff to these power weapons, Commemoration is going to be a useful tool in tanky builds. Today I am going to look at the weapon, the stats, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Commemoration in Destiny 2.

Commemoration is a Legendary Power Machine Gun with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 41, Range 62, Stability 60, Handling 44, Reload Speed 55, Rounds Per Minute 450, Magazine 59.

The Deep Stone Crypt weapons have unique perks on them too. Reconstruction: This weapon slowly reloads itself over time, up to double capacity. Recombination: Elemental final blows increase the damage of this weapon’s next shot.

The Destiny community has dubbed Commemoration the new Hammerhead, a famous Machine Gun from The Black Armory. Its stats aren’t quite as good as Hammerhead, but they are about as loose as we have right now, plus this is an excellent void machine gun if you are looking for a void build this season.

When paired with Reconstruction, Commemoration can shoot 120 rounds before reloading, turning this thing into an absolute monster. As well as having a nearly bottomless pit of ammo, this thing is great for PVP too.

Commemoration God Roll Guide

For PVE Chambered Compensator, Accurized Rounds, Reconstruction, and Rampage is the best roll. Chambered Compensator increases stability, moderately controls recoil, and slightly decreases handling speed. Accurized Rounds increase range. Reconstruction is where this weapon slowly reloads itself over time, up to double capacity. and finally rampage boosts damage after a kill, which stacks up to 3 times. Reconstruction paired with Rampage is absolutely perfect on this machine gun.

For PVP Hammer Forged Rifling, Flared Magwell, Zen Moment and Moving Target would be good. Hammer Forged Rifling increases range, Flared Magwell increases stability and reload speed. Zen Moment increases stability when you cause damage with the weapon and finally Moving Target increases movement speed and target acquisition when aiming down sights.

How to get Commemoration

To get this machine gun you have to run the Deep Stone Crypt Raid from Beyond Light. At the time of making the guide, this means you have to own the Beyond Light DLC. Commemoration has the chance to drop from the final encounter called The Abomination. If you don’t have any luck the first time, give it another try and the machine will drop for you.

Once you have the weapon to drop, you can then get other rolls from secret chests found in the raid. The first one is in the sparrow section, then the second one can be found roughly halfway through the jumping puzzle out in space. There is also a vendor at the end of the raid when you can purchase random rolled weapons for 20 spoils, which you should collect throughout the raid.

Let me know what you think in the comments of Commemoration and let me know your top roll.
