How to get Shepherds Watch (Legendary Sniper Rifle) plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2
Shepherd’s Watch is a new Legendary Sniper added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of the Lost. This is a decent sniper with great rolls available for PVE and PVP, and it’s well worth getting a few rolls of this Sniper this season. Today I’m going to check out Shepherds Watch, its stats, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Shepherds Watch in Destiny 2.
Shepherd’s Watch is a Legendary Kinetic Sniper Rifle, this one has an adaptive frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, it’s reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have impact 70, Range 52, Stability 48, Handling 44, Reload Speed 43, Rounds Per Minute 90, and Magazine 4.
Shepherd’s Watch God Roll Guide
For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Accurized Rounds, No Distractions, and Snapshot Sights would be a great roll. Arrowhead Brake greatly controls recoil, plus you get a nice boost to handling speed too. Accurized Rounds increase range. No Distractions gives you a reduction in flinch when you aim for a short time, then Snapshot Sights gives you faster time to aim down sights. Snapshot Sights is a must-have perk for PVP, but you could always swap out Moving Target for No Distractions.
For PVE Corkscrew Rifling, Appended Mag, Outlaw, and Firing Line would be a good roll. Corkscrew Rifling gives you an increase in range and stability, Appended Mag gives you an increased magazine size. Outlaw greatly decreases reload speed after a kill and Firing Line gives you increased precision damage when you are near two or more allies. Firing Line is particularly good if you want to take this into raids, or Nightfall Strikes when you are going to be standing next to allies getting that boss DPS.

How to get Shepherd’s Watch
To get this one it’s a random drop from world activities, or playlist activities too, so this one has a chance at dropping from Strikes, PVP matches, gambit, and also other activities like public events and anywhere you get loot. That does mean there’s not 100% way to get the weapon, so it is a little down to luck. However, over the course of the season, you’ve probably seen this one drop for you.
Given it’s in the world loot pool, then it is possible for it to drop from Banshee-44, the Gunsmith, in the Tower. You could turn in materials to Banshee-44 and hope the weapon drops. It’s also worth keeping an eye on Banshee’s inventory, plus Xur’s Inventory too, as it’s possible they could sell the weapon at some point in the season.
Overall, Shepherds Watch is a great Sniper, it’s versatile and good in both game modes. Although you have to leave it up to chance to get, given it’s in the world loot pool, I’m sure you’ll see it drop for you this season.
