How to get Darkest Before (Legendary Pulse Rifle) Plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Darkest Before is a reprised Pulse Rifle from Trials of the Nine, come back to us as part of the Prophecy Dungeon loot in Destiny 2. This is a beast of a Pulse Rifle, which can tear through enemies in both PVE and PVP.

Darkest Before is an Energy Pulse Rifle with a rapid-fire frame meaning deeper ammo reserves and slightly faster reloading when the magazine is empty. Impact 23, Range 41, Stability 53, Handling 34, Reload Speed 42, Rounds Per Minute 540, Magazine 36

Darkest Before God Roll Guide

For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Appended Mag, Overflow, and Rampage would be a decent roll. Arrowhead Brake gives you more handling and recoil control and Appended Mag gives you a large magazine capacity boost. Overflow allows you to pick up ammo and potentially overflow the magazine beyond normal capacity. Rampage stacks increased damage up to three times, making it perfect for PVE content.

For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Richochet Rounds, Surplus, and Full Auto would be good. Richochet rounds give you more Range, more Stability, and Ricocheting Rounds. Surplus increases handling, reload speed, and stability for each fully charged ability, and full auto allows this one to fire in full auto mode, which really shreds in PVP.

How to get Darkest Before

To get Darkest Before you want to complete the final boss encounter in the Prophecy Dungeon, The Kell Echo, and you’ll have a chance for it to drop for you from the final chest when you are teleported to see The Emissary of the Nine. To defeat the Kell Echo nice and quickly you want to look at a Fusion or Linear Fusion Rifle like Sleeper Simulant, or 1000 Voices paired with Particle Deconstruction, which will melt the boss nice and fast. Once you have the Darkest Before in your inventory, this can then drop from the 2 secret chests found in the Dungeon.
