Destiny 2 – Double Nightfall Loot Plus The Disgraced Nightfall Guide (All Classes)

There’s double loot on offer in this week’s Nightfall, which means it’s one of the best times to stock up on the Nightfall weapons, Exotic armor, and upgrade materials. Today I am going to go through The Disgraced Nightfall, plus have a look at some builds for all classes, so you can get through the Nightfall nice and easy, and get that great loot on offer.

This week is a good week as we have double nightfall rewards on offer, plus 3 weapons are in the rotation for the week including The Palindrome Handcannon, The SWARM Machine Gun, and also The Shadow Price Auto Rifle. All 3 weapons are up for grabs, plus there’s going to be plenty of Exotic armor, Prisms, and other upgrade materials too. This is a great time to jump in, especially if you are looking for those Nightfall weapons and missed them when they were available earlier in the season.

You can jump into the Nightfall via the Vanguard node and then select Nightfall or Grandmaster Nightfall. On the regular nightfall, we have Adept, Hero, Legend, and Master – Legend and above is not matchmade so you may need to find a team via LFG, or a website where you can find teammates. I play solo a lot, so LFG websites are very valuable to me, especially when I want to raid or play endgame PVE content. I’d recommend checking out the Bungie app or the Bungie Website > Community > Fireteams.

Let’s have a look at the Nightfall itself.

Nightfall – The Ordeal: The Disgraced

Nightfall: Adept

Fire Pit: When defeated, Acolytes spawn fire pools that cause damage over time.

Nightfall: Hero

All previous modifiers
Champions: Unstoppable: This mode contains Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Unstoppable mod.
Champions: Barrier: This mode contains Barrier Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Anti-Barrier mod.
Champions: Hive: This mode contains both Barrier and Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Anti-Barrier or Unstoppable mod, respectively.
Hero Modifiers: Extra Shields
Navôta’s Abandon: Incoming Arc and environmental damage increased.

Nightfall: Legend

All previous modifiers
Equipment Locked: You will not be able to change your equipment after this activity starts.
Match Game: Enemy shields are highly resistant to all unmatched elemental damage.
Legend Modifiers: Locked Loadout & Match Game & Extra Shields

Nightfall: Master

All previous modifiers
Chaff: Radar is disabled.
Master Modifiers: Champions: Mob & Locked Loadout & Match Game & Extra Shields
Champions: Mob: This mode contains additional Champions.

The main thing to notice here is you are going to need Unstoppable and Barrier mods, which can be found on the seasonal artifact. If you don’t equip these mods then you’re going to have a tough time getting through the Nightfall, and your fireteam will likely get frustrated because you can’t kill champions. The mods are easy enough to equip, and then you have to match up some weapons to go with them.

Next let’s have a look at a build for each class.

Titan Nightfall Build

Subclass – Middle Tree Arc
Exotic Armour: Cuirass of the Falling Star (chest)
Weapons: Chroma Rush (for Barrier), Salvagers Salvo (for Unstoppable), Anarchy
Mods: Breach & Clear, Anti Barrier, Unstoppable, Taking Charge, High-Energy Fire

I am using an Arc-themed build here and using Cuirass of the Falling Star for the big damage on the Titan super. I’m using Chroma Rush in my Kinetic slot for anti-barrier champions, although you could use any Auto Rifle, it’s doesn’t have to be Chroma Rush. I like this one because it’s fast firing and it has Rampage on it, which increases damage after you get kills. Salvager’s Salvo is going to help me with Unstoppable Champions, plus it’s got Demolitionist and Vorpal Weapon. Demolitionist is great for recharging grenades and Vorpal Weapon is good for extra boss damage. I’m using Breach and Clear which is a great mod on the seasonal artifact to weaken enemies when you hit them with a grenade launcher shot.

Warlock Nightfall Build

Subclass – Bottom-Tree Voidwalker
Exotic Armour: Nezarec’s Sin (Helm)
Weapons: Witherhoard, Gnawing Hunger, Royal Entry
Mods: Breach & Clear, Anti Barrier, Unstoppable, Taking Charge, Argent Ordnance

For the Warlock, I am using a Void themed build. Nezarec’s Sin is going to recharge our abilities, which means more grenades and more healing Rifts, which are going to come in use in the Nightfall plus this works well with bottom-tree Voidwalker and Devour. I’m using Witherhoard as my Grenade Launcher, this is going to help with crowd control with the damage over time plus stop the unstoppable champions in their tracks. Gnawing Hunger is a Void Auto Rifle, which is going to boost Nezarec’s Sin, plus help out with Barrier Champions, and then finally I am using Deathbringer for its big damage output, working with Argent Ordnance for the 15-20% boost to rocket damage when charged with light.

Hunter Build

Subclass – Top-tree void hunter
Exotic Armour: Orpheus Rig
Weapons: Ignition Code, Shadow Price, Xenophage
Mods: Breach & Clear, Anti Barrier, Unstoppable, Taking Charge, High-Energy Fire

Orpheus Rig and Way of the Trapper go together well because of the synergy with Deadfall. What we’re looking to do is tether a whole bunch of enemies and we’re going to be given back a fair amount of super energy, meaning we can do it all over again much faster. For the weapons I’m using Ignition Code for the Kinetic, this is good for Unstoppable Champions and then Shadow Price for the Barrier Champions. Finally, in the power slot, I’m using Xenophage, this is going to help with yellow bar enemies and bosses too.

The Disgraced Nightfall itself is relatively straightforward, the higher the difficulty the slower you should take it. This gives me big Destiny 1 vibes, where the nightfalls would be crushingly difficult. We used to have to run this strike for The Grasp of Malok, which was a Legendary Pulse Rifle.

The three Nightfall weapons up for grabs this week are Palindrome, Shadowprice, and the SWARM. Let’s remind ourselves of some of the great rolls to look out for.

Palindrome

For PVP Quickdraw and Rangefinder would be good, or perhaps Killing Wind and Rangefinder too. Quickdraw and High Impact Reserves would also be good for PVP for that boost in damage when the magazine is lower.

For PVE Outlaw and Rampage is the classic pairing, plus this is the most popular roll out there in the community right now. Overflow and One for all would also be good, as overflow gives you more ammo when you pick up special or heavy ammo, so you could be running around with a magazine higher than 10.

Shadow Price

The most popular roll at the moment is Dragonfly and Overflow and next up we have feeding Frenzy and Swashbuckler. Both of these would be great for PVE. The third most popular is Killing Wind and One for All, which could be a PVP roll. Thresh and Surplus is also a popular roll. It seems like the most popular rolls out there at the moment are PVE rolls. I got Feeding Frenzy and Disruption Break, which is neither a decent PVE nor PVP roll, so I’ll have a lookout for another one.

The SWARM

The most popular roll out there in the community at the moment is Killing Wind and Dragonfly, this is probably a good PVE roll. Another decent one for PVE is Outlaw and Vorpal Weapon for that increase in damage against bosses on Vorpal and precision kills decreasing the reload time with Outlaw.

For PVP Dynamic Sway Reduction and Zen Moment would be a decent roll, but I am not sure this would be good in PVP (although let me know in the comments if you think I am wrong here).

Good luck getting those weapons this week in the Nightfall, and let me know down in the comments which rolls you get plus share any tips and builds for the Nightfall.
