Quickfang is a returning Hunter Sword, come back to us in Season of the Splicer. Today I am going to look at the stats, the god roll guide plus how to get this Hunter Sword in Destiny 2.
Quickfang is a Legendary Hunter Power Sword with a Lightweight Frame where you can Launch a heavy dash attack. Heavy attacks are stronger with full energy. Looking at the stats we have Swing Speed 82, Impact 60, Range 20, Efficiency 10, Defense 50, Charge Rate 34, and Ammo Capacity 74.
Quickfang God Roll Guide
The most popular rollout there with the community at the moment is Jagged Edge, Swordmaster’s Guard, Relentless Strikes, and Assassin’s Blade. Jagged Edge improves the impact at the cost of sword ammo, Swordmasters Guard has low overall defenses but increases the charge rate, Relentless Strikes grant sword ammo after 3 light sword attacks and finally, Assassin’s Blade boosts movement speed and damage on Sword Kills.
Another popular roll is Hungry Edge, Tireless Blade, and One For All (which sounds like it was invented for Swords by the Three Musketeers). Hungry Edge increases Sword Ammo, Tireless Blade is where you get sword ammo for every powered sword kill and one for all increases damage when you hit 3 or more targets in quick succession.
How to get Quickfang
This is a random drop from activities as these class-specific swords are in the world loot pool at the moment. Therefore hop on with your warlock, run strikes, crucible, gambit, complete world activities like public events, patrols, and lost sectors and this will drop for you.
How to make Quickfang better
There’s a Charged with Light mod called Lucent Blade which is very good, I’d recommend using that one.
Lucent Blade – While Charged with Light, dealing damage with a Sword gives you bonus Sword damage for 5 seconds, consuming one stack of Charged with Light.
You’ll need to be charged with light, and use something like Taking Charge to get Charged with Light, but this increases the damage output of swords by about 20%, so it’s very worthwhile.
Good luck getting hold of Quickfang, it’s a great Hunter Sword and you can cause some real damage with it. Let me know in the comments what you think of Quickfang, plus which rolls you are enjoying.
