Destiny 2 – The Best Iron Banner God Rolls To Get in Season Of The Splicer
Iron Banner is back this week from 8th – 15th June 2021, and it’s one of a number of Iron Banner events this season. We have 2 new weapons to get with the Riiswalker Shotgun and Archon’s Thunder Machine Gun, plus stasis has been nerfed into the ground… so now may be the best time ever to jump into Iron Banner and hunt for those God Roll weapons.
One thing worth noting is that Bungie has fixed the bug that prevented Riiswalker and Archon’s Thunder from dropping from Iron Banner matches, Iron Banner Bounties, and ranking up at Saladin. There was a bug where you could only get them as drops from the Iron Banner quest, but that’s been fixed in last week’s patch 3.2.0.3.
Let’s dive into the God Rolls for Iron Banner in Season of the Splicer.
Riiswalker

Riiswalker is a Legendary Kinetic Shotgun with a Lightweight Frame meaning it has superb handling. Move faster with this weapon equipped.
For PVP Quickdraw and Iron Reach would be good. Iron Reach is one of the Iron Banner exclusive perks, which massively improves the range at the cost of stability. So if you happen to have Iron reach, plus a stability masterwork then that would be very good! The fact that this rolls with Quickdraw is great, seeing as Felwinter’s Lie and Astral Horizon had Quickdraw removed at the start of Season of the Splicer. There’s also Hip Fire Grip and Killing Wind, which is a pretty popular roll out there with the community. Quickdraw and Iron Reach is far and away the most popular combination though at the moment with about 25% of players who have Riiswalker using this combination of perks.
For PVE Surplus and Vorpal Weapon would be good. Slideways and Swashbuckler would also be a decent roll for PVE. Swashbuckler is always good for PVE focused builds.
To get Riiswalker you have to run the quest in Season of the Splicer. Its the reward for the end of the 4th step of the quest, after you have to get the sniper kills. You’ll also be able to get it from Lord Saladin’s bounties, turning in tokens form Saladin and also random drops from Iron Banner matches.
Archon’s Thunder

Archon’s Thunder Legendary Power Machine Gun with a High-Impact Frame meaning the weapon is slow-firing and has high damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary and aiming down sights. Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 68, Stability 25, Handling 40, Reload Speed 40, Rounds Per Minute 360, and Magazine 44.
For PVE Rangefinder and Rampage would be a good roll. Mulligan and Thresh would also be a good roll for PvE. For PVP Quickdraw and Snapshot Sights would be good, or there is Killing Wind and Iron Grip.
To get Archon’s Thunder you have to run the quest in Season of the Splicer. It’s the reward for the end of the final step of the quest after you have to get the shotgun kills. You’ll also be able to get it from Lord Saladin’s bounties, turning in tokens form Saladin and also random drops from Iron Banner matches.
Occluded Finality

Occluded Finality is a Legendary Energy Sniper Rifle that deals arc damage and is an Aggressive Frame meaning it has High damage, high recoil.
For PVP Snapshot Sights and Opening Shot would be a good roll, also Auto-Loading Holster and Iron Reach would be decent for PVP. For PVE No Distractions and Vorpal Weapon would be good and also Under Pressure and Demolitionist.
To get Occluded Finality it’s available from Iron Banner in Season of the Splicer. You can get this from rewards at the end of Iron Banner matches or from turning in tokens to Lord Saladin at the Tower. Occluded Finality is also a reward from the Iron Banner Quest this season, complete Step 2 and you’ll get the Sniper drop at the end.
Finite Impactor
Finite Impactor is a Legendary Energy Hand Cannon that deals arc damage and jas an adaptive frame, meaning it has a well-rounded grip and it’s reliable and sturdy. This is a 140 hand cannon, so similar to Fatebringer, Ace of Spades etc – but in the Energy Slot.
For PVP Killing Wind, Iron Reach, Fastdraw HCS and Richochet Rounds would be a good roll. Fastdraw HCS gives you more handling and also stability and aim assist, very useful for Hand Cannons in PVP. Ricochet Rounds increase stability and range, plus Killing Wind gives you that boost to mobility, range and handling for a short duration after a kill. Finally, Iron Reach gives you a massive boost to range, but it’s penalise you in the stability department (which is why it’s good to pair with richochet rounds).
For PVE Heating Up, Multikill Clip, High Caliber Rounds and Steadyhand HCS would be a decent roll. Steadyhand gives you more stabilitym handling and aim assist and High Caliber Rounds gives you more range. Heating Up is a new perk and final blows with the weapon increase accuracy and stability, while improving vertical recoil. Finally multikill clip is where reloading grants increased damage based on the number of rapid kills made before.
To get this hand cannon you’ll get it as part of the Iron Banner quest in Season of the Splicer, but it’s also a random drop from the end of Iron Banner matches and when you hand in tokens to Lord Saladin.
Those are the weapons available from from season of the splicer, however, there’s some good legacy weapons to get your hands on too.
The Steady Hand

The Steady Hand is a Legendary Kinetic Hand Cannon which is an Aggressive Frame meaning it has high damage, high recoil. Optimized for long-distance shooting. For PVP Killing Wind and Mulligan would be a good roll, whereas for PVE Quickdraw and Swashbuckler would be good. Swashbuckler is great as the weapon gains increased damage based on melee kills, which is nice for PVE focused builds. The most popular roll out there with the community is Quickdraw and Swashbuckler.
To get The Steady Hand it’s a random drop from the end of Iron Banner matches and when you hand in tokens to Lord Saladin.
The Forward Path

The Forward Path is a Legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle which is an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. For PVE Swashbuckler and Feeding Frenzy would be a decent roll as you get some increased damage from melee kills with swashbuckler. For PVP Dynamic Sway Reduction is a must-have perk, plus either Tap The Trigger or Eye of the Storm would be a good roll.
To get this one it’s random drop from the end of Iron Banner Matches or when you turn in tokens to Lord Saladin after the main quest is done.
Let me know in the comments what weapons you are chasing this Iron Banner.
