Destiny 2 – How to get the Vision of Confluence (Legendary Scout Rifle)
The Vision of Confluence has arrived in Destiny 2 as part of the Vault fo Glass Raid. This was one of the most sought-after weapons in Destiny 2, and it’s arrived in Destiny 2 with some interesting new perks. Today I am going to be looking at the weapon, its stats, the god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE plus how to get Vision of Confluence in Destiny 2.
The original Vision of Confluence dropped back in the Vault of Glass in Destiny 1 in 2014, when the raid first came out. The sandbox for Scout Rifles back then was arguably much kinder than it is today. I really like the Vision of Confluence, it’s fast, it deals great damage and it has good range and together with the VOG mods, this is really useful for those weekly raids.
Vision of Confluence Stats
Vision of Confluence is a legendary energy scout rifle that deals solar damage and has a precision frame meaning the weapon’s recoil pattern is much more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have 62 for impact, 51 for range, 48 for stability, 50 for handling, 52 for reload speed and it’s a 180 rpm scout rifle with 16 in the magazine.
Vision of Confluence God Roll Guide
For PVE Rewind Rounds, Firefly, Richochet Rounds, and Arrowhead Brake would be a decent roll. Arrowhead break helps control the recoil and increases handling speed, and Richochet Rounds also increases stability and increases range too, which is handy on a Scout Rifle. Rewind Rounds is the Vault of Glass exclusive perk where when the magazine is empty it’ll refill from reserves based on the number of hits. Finally, we have Firefly, another returning perk from Destiny 1, where precision kills with the weapon increase reload speed and causes the target to explode, dealing solar damage to nearby enemies.
For PVP Killing Wind and Full Auto would be a decent roll, with Corkscrew Rifling and High Caliber Rounds. Corkscrew Rifling will give you more range, handling, and stability and High-Caliber Rounds will also give you more range, which is exactly what you want in PVP. Killing Wind is great were final blows with the weapon grant increased mobility, range, and handling for a short duration. Full auto is great for the ease of use, just holding down the trigger. Kill Clip is also a decent perk if you don’t like full auto.
How to get Vision of Confluence
To get the Vision of Confluence you have a few chances in the Vault of Glass raid. It’s only going to drop in the raid, so I recommend getting a team together or using an LFG like the Bungie Companion app or DestinyTracker.
Vision of Confluence can drop from the 1st encounter, Conflux, the second encounter, Oracles, and also the third Encounter, the Templar. If you do manage to get a drop then you can also buy another roll from the end of the raid through the vendor after Atheon. That’ll help you get another roll, and hopefully that god roll you are looking for. If it doesn’t drop for you then try another Guardian, or you’ll have to wait until the following week. If you have 3 Guardians, then you have 9 chances to get it per week.
We also have the Timelost version of Vision of Confluence coming soon, and I presume this will be related to the raid challenge mode coming on 15th June 2021.
Another good reason to get a version of the Vision of Confluence this season is because scout rifles are backed up by some of the mods on the seasonal artifact.
- Anti-Barrier Scout Rifle
- Scout Rifle Loader (Increased reload speed)
Anti-Barrier are going to come in very useful if you want to get through the Legend of Master Lost Sectors and Nightfalls, also if you’re going up against the Grandmaster Nightfalls which will be coming in a few weeks time.
Let me know down in the comments what you think of the returning Vision of Confluence. Also, let me know what rolls you got and which ones you are chasing!
