Destiny 2 – How to get The Guiding Sight (Legendary Scout Rifle)

The Guiding Sight is a returning Scout Rifle currently in the Iron Banner loot pool. This is a useful scout rifle, returning to us from an earlier period in Destiny, and deadly in the right hands. Today I am going to look at the weapon stats, rolls for PVP and PVE plus how to get The Guiding Sight.

The Guiding Sight is a Legendary Kinetic Scout Rifle which is a High-Impact Frame meaning it’s slow-firing and high-damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary and aiming down sights. Looking at the stats for this weapon we have Impact 67, Range 68, Stability 32, Handling 34, Reload Speed 42, Rounds Per Minute 150 and Magazine 13.

The curated roll comes with Vorpal Weapon for that increase in damage against bosses, vehicles and Guardians in their super and Slideshot where sliding partially reloads the magazine and boosts range and stability.

For PVP Zen Moment and Hip Fire Grip would be good and for PVE Rapid Hit and Vorpal weapon would be a decent roll. The most popular roll out there in the community at the moment is Rapid Hit and Vorpal Weapon.

To get this weapon you have to run through the Iron Banner quest in Season of the Hunt called Slaying Dragons. You’ll get this weapon roughly halfway through the quest. Once you finish the quest you can hand in tokens to Lord Saladin for a chance at a drop of this weapon too.

The Guiding Sight is pretty good. It’s a little bit of an acquired taste weapon as it’s a slow firing, high-impact scout rifle but you do get it if you take part in Iron Banner this season and I think it’s worth getting hold of and trying it out.

Let me know what you think of The Guiding Sight down there in the comments and let me know what rolls you’re enjoying this season.

That’s it for this guide on how to get The Guiding Sight Scout Rifle.
