Destiny 2 – How to get Arctic Haze (Legendary Auto Rifle)
Arctic Haze is a new auto rifle that’s part of the Europa set of weapons. This is an awesome Auto Rifle and one of the stand out weapons of the new loot found on the moon of Jupiter. Today I am going to go through the weapon stats, rolls and most importantly, how to get it! The following is a guide for how to get Arctic Haze in Destiny 2 Beyond Light.
Arctic Haze is a Legendary Energy Auto Rifle is a Rapid-Fire Frame that means deeper ammo reserves and it deals Solar damage. Slightly faster reload when the magazine is empty. Looking at the stats we have impact 18, Range 32, Stability 53, Handling 48, Reload Speed 53, Rounds Per Minute 720 and Magazine 51.
The curated roll comes with Elemental Capacitor where you get increased stats based on the element (solar reload speed, void stability and arc handling – interestingly this doesn’t yet support stasis), Genesis was breaking a combatants shield fills the magazine from reserves. Energy weapons regenerate ammo on hit when matching the damage type to the combatant’s shield.
For PVP Killing Wind and Elemental Capacitor would be a good roll and for PVE Outlaw and Vorpal Weapon would be good. This one can also roll with Thresh, and that’s included in the most popular roll out there at the moment as it’s Killing Wind and Thresh. Thresh is great because you get a small amount of super energy on kills.
How to get Arctic Haze
To get this weapon you can get this from random drops around Europa itself. High-value targets around Europa can drop this weapon, so it’s worth exploring and watching out for the high-value target indicator in the bottom left of the screen.
An easier way to get it is from the direct quest you can pick up from Variks’. Have a chat with Variks on Europa and check out page 2. Here you can select a specific mission for Arctic Haze. The objectives for the mission are random, so check out your objectives, complete it and then Arctic Haze will drop for you.
This is a fantastic auto rifle, great in PVP and PVE so it’s well worth hunting around Europa for this weapon. Let me know down in the comments what you think of Arctic Haze.
