Destiny 2 – How to get Trust (Legendary Hand Cannon)
Trust is a Legendary Hand Cannon originally released as part of the Forsaken expansion. It’s a great feeling crisp hand cannon and would be deadly in the right hands. The following is a guide for how to get Trust in Destiny 2.
Trust is precision frame hand cannon meaning the recoil pattern on the gun is more predictably vertical. It’s quick-firing with high accuracy. It’s a Solar weapon and sits in the energy slot, so it could be paired with weapons like Dust Rock Blues, Supremacy and Revoker.
This is a 180 rpm hand cannon with 9 in the magazine, making this one of the fastest firing hand cannons in the game. In terms of stats it’s got 78 impact, 55 reload speed and 60 stability. Otherwise, it’s a good all-rounder. On the hidden stats, it’s got 96 on the recoil, so it should feel nice and smooth to shoot.
Random rolls of this weapon include explosive payload, rampage, rapid hit, zen moment, dragonfly, outlaw, and triple tap. The curated roll comes with Genesis which fills the mag from reserves when you break an enemy’s shield and Explosive payload, where the bullets create an area of effect damage.
There’s a couple of ways you can get this weapon – Gambit drops and bounties and also the menagerie. If you want to try and get this from Gambit head on over to the Drifter in the Annex at the Tower and pick up all of his bounties. Complete Gambit runs for a chance for this weapon to drop, either through random drops from bosses or Infamy rank up rewards. Complete the bounties and rank up with the Drifter for more chances.
If you don’t want to rely on random luck, then you can load up the menagerie with the correct runes in the chalice and get Trust as a reward from the chest at the end. You’ll need a rune of desire in the top slot and any purple rune in the left slot. Once you have these runes in place, run the menagerie and Trust will drop for you at the end.
Once you’ve got the weapon load up your favorite activity and unload that 180 rpm hand cannon. This is great in gambit for clearing big groups of ads, also great in the crucible. It’s also got some really nice looking ornaments where you can change the look of the gun.
Let me know down in the comments what you think of Trust. How does it compare with other Hand Cannons?
