Destiny 2 – How to get Anonymous Autumn (Legendary Sidearm)

Anonymous Autumn is a legendary sidearm that was introduced in Destiny 2 in the Forsaken Expansion and will be a deadly addition to your collection. The following is a guide for how to get Anonymous Autumn in Destiny 2.

Sidearms got a blanket buff in Season of the Dawn update 2.7.0 with Bungie saying “Increased target acquisition across the board” and this made a real difference to Sidearms in the game. They’re fast, have plenty of ammo and can shred through enemies in PVP and PVE.

Anonymous Autumn is a lightweight frame sidearm, meaning you can move faster when this weapon is equipped. This is a 360 rpm sidearm with 15 in the mag. It’s got great handling (64) and pretty good stability (50) and reload speed (51). As for hidden stats, it has huge recoil (99). This is a solar weapon that sits in the energy weapon slot.

With the random roll perks it can come with opening shot, rangefinder, rampage, kill clip, full auto, outlaw and moving target. The curated roll on this one is full auto and tap the trigger for that increased stability and accuracy on initial trigger pull.

There’s a couple of ways to get this weapon. It will drop for you as a crucible reward or when you rank up with Lord Shaxx in the Tower and receive Legendary Engrams. If you have a bunch of crucible tokens then turn them into Shaxx and keep your fingers crossed and this one will drop for you.

For a more sure-fire way of getting this weapon, you can use the Chalice and do a menagerie run. You’ll need to have your chalice upgraded, and so make sure you’ve got enough imperials to do that. As always, head to Nessus and speak to Werner on the barge and pick up Runefinder, open the chests on the barge or farm activities for imperials. Check out a guide for how to use and upgrade your chalice.

For this recipe you’ll need a rune of Pride in the top slot and then any green rune in the left slot. Once you have the correct runes in the slots, run the menagerie and you’ll get the weapon to drop at the end from the chest.

Once you have the weapon, head into your favourite activity and start shredding. This one is good for PVP, so try it out.

Let me know down in the comments what you think of the Anonymous Autumn? How do you think it compares to other sidearms and is it something you’ll be taking into competitive PVP playlists like Trials or Iron Banner?
