Destiny 2 – How to get Beloved (Legendary Sniper Rifle)

Beloved is a legendary sniper rifle that was introduced during the Season of Opulence and is a drop that’s configurable through The Menagerie. Beloved is a great sniper that’s going to be useful in the upcoming Trials of Osiris, so you’ll want to check this one out for sure. The following is a guide for how to get Beloved.

The Menagerie was introduced during the Season of Opulence in Destiny 2 (you can check out a guide for that here) and it’s a great way to get some very effective weapons in the game. Once you’ve unlocked The Menagerie you’ll want to upgrade the Chalice of Opulence.

To do this you’re going to need imperials and you can either get these through activities or you can open up chests on the barge on Nessus. To upgrade the Chalice of Opulence to Rune Compatability I. Hover over the icon in the bottom left of the screen and check out how many imperials you need. I’ve read you needed 1000, but I needed 2500, maybe because I already upgraded to Power and Efficiency I.

Once you’ve upgraded the Chalice with Imperials this will allow you to get red runes, which are the key to getting Beloved. Once you have 2 slots available the top slot required a Rune of Jubilation and the left slot is any red rune.

Now you’ve slotted in the correct runes, simply run The Menagerie and at the end open up the chest to get your loot. Beloved drops with random rolls. I got one with Snapshot Sights and Fourth Time’s the Charm and another with No Distractions and Ambitious Assasin. Snapshot Sights is definitely a great perk on a sniper, especially when you want to get off those quick shots in PVP.

Beloved is an adaptive fire frame sniper, 90 RPM with 5 in the magazine. It’s solar damage and the curated roll comes with Box Breathing and No Distractions. It’s Solar damage, energy sniper that takes special ammo. This has an impact of 70 so it’s going to hit guardians hard in PVP.

Let me know what you think of Beloved down in the comments – how do you think it compares to other snipers and which one is your favourite going into Trials?

That’s it for this guide on how to get Beloved. For more Destiny 2 content like this check out the Shadowkeep Guide or check out the YouTube Channel.
