Destiny 2 – How to unlock the Tower Obelisk and complete Saint-14’s Cornerstone Quest Guide

Saint-14 has come back to the Tower and he’s brought with him a new Obelisk. This Obelisk is different though as it acts as a conduit between the other Obelisks and gives you the chance to earn more rewards in Season of Dawn. The following is a guide for how to unlock the Tower Obelisk and complete Saint-14’s Cornerstone quest guide.

First up, go and speak to Saint-14 in the Tower. If he’s not in the tower for you then complete Corridors of Time Part 1 and Part 2 first. These are very good story missions and give you some good background to Saint-14.

Cornerstone Quest Guide

The objective of this quest is to restore the Obelisk in the Tower.

From One Brother to Another

Speak to Saint-14.

Some Assembly Required

For this step of the quest, you’ll want to gather crucial components by killing powerful Fallen, Cabal and Vex enemies. This can be done through public events and The Sundial for the Cabal enemies. I managed to do most of this quest when I was completing Tribute to the Colonies quest.

Parts and Labour

Speak to Saint-14. He puts together the parts you have collected ready to deliver to the Obelisk in the Tower.

Delivery Pending

For the next step head to the Obelisk in the Tower and interact with it to activate it.

Synchronised Resonance

The Obelisk in the Tower has now been activated and it acts as a conduit for all Obelisks once the components are repaired. To sync up the Obelisks out there in the Solar system you have to complete timelost weapon frame bounties for each Obelisk to link them.

Now the Tower Obelisk has been restored you’ll want to open up the links to the other Obelisks on the Tangled Shore, Mars, Nessus and the EDZ.

That’s it for this guide on how to unlock the Tower Obelisk and complete Saint-14’s Cornerstone quest guide. For more Destiny 2 content like this check out the Shadowkeep Guide or check out the YouTube Channel.
