Destiny 2 – How to honour the past with Saint-14 and Tribute to the Colonies Quest Guide

Saint-14 is back in the Tower and he wants us to honour the fallen comrades of the past by going around the solar system on Titan, Nessus and the EDZ and complete some activities. At the end of this quest, we get a tribute which we place next to Saint-14. The following is a guide for how to honour the past with Saint-14 and Tribute to the Colonies Quest Guide.

First up, go and speak to Saint-14 in the Tower. If he’s not in the tower for you then complete Corridors of Time Part 1 and Part 2 first. These are very good story missions and give you some good background to Saint-14.

Tribute to the Colonies Quest Guide

Saint-14 is back and although the rewards aren’t huge, the story is quite cool in this quest. Saint’s just travelled through time and wants us to honour our fallen comrades in the solar system.

Honouring the lost

Speak to Saint-14.

Early Colonies

For this step of the quest, you want to go to Titan and kill 100 enemies. Saint-14 wants us to honour the colonists who once lived there and what better way to do this than killing Hive and helping out Sloane. I went to Cargo Bay 3 and killed 100 enemies here.

Lost Colonies

Speak to Failsafe on Nessus

Remembrance through Service

To help honour the lost combatants on the Exodus Black Failsafe wants us to complete tasks on Nessus. We have to complete 2 public events, a patrol and kill 100 enemies.

Casualties of War

Speak to Devrim Kay on EDZ.

Protector of the people

Devrim wants us to honour the lost by creating safety for refugees who haven’t yet made it to the Last City. He sends us out into the EDZ to do 2 public events, patrols, and kill 100 enemies.

Moving Forward

Now we’ve travelled throughout the system and honoured the losses of the past it’s time to go back to Saint-14 to see if he can make peace with the past. Go to the Tower and speak to Saint and he’ll give you a Golden Statue: A memorial to the Lost Colonies.

Tribute to the past

After you receive the small statue from Saint-14, place it next to Saint and he says “Never forget why we fight or who we are fighting for”.

It’s not exactly clear if this is it for this tribute, or if it’s going to have any significance later at this stage.

It is interesting that Saint-14 says he wants to build a beacon (perhaps lighthouse?) for Guardians and also he’s surrounded by Trials logos in the floor around him. So could this be the beginnings of Trials coming back? Let me know what you think in the comments.

That’s it for this guide on how to honour the past with Saint-14 and Tribute to the Colonies Quest Guide. For more Destiny 2 content like this check out the Shadowkeep Guide or check out the YouTube Channel.
