Dauntless has launched today on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and comes with full cross-play features. This means players on these platforms will be able to play together. Phoenix Labs announced the news on its blog.
Dauntless is a free-to-play action role-playing video game. The game initially launched in beta in May 2018. The game is like Monster Hunter but looks like Fornite. Players take on the role of Slayers to take down Behemoths, collecting loot that they use to craft and upgrade weapons and equipment as to take down larger and more powerful Behemoths.
Cross-play on PC, Xbox One and PS4 means hunting together, chatting together and joining guilds together. Cross-progression has also been implemented where progress transfers from system to system. The developer Phoenix Labs recommend reading the account linking guide on their website.
