EA and Sony have announced EA’s subscription service is coming to PlayStation on July 4 2019. EA Access is a subscription service that allows gamers to play EA games such as FIFA, Sims, Anthem, Starwars Battlefront, Titanfall 2 and more. EA Access customers also get 10 days early access to games days before the main release as we saw with Anthem this year.
Previously the service had been exclusive to Xbox One with a similar service run on PC called Origin Access. Sony didn’t want to allow Access on its platform saying it didn’t believe the service was good value for its customers. However now Sony and EA have struck a deal which will bring EA Access to PlayStation for the first time starting July 4th 2019.
The service is likely to cost the same £4/$5 per month or approximately £25/$30 per year.
EA recently announced Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay will be shown at EA Play this June. Jedi: Fallen order will likely come to EA’s subscription service later in the year.
